If you fail, you'll get a different test while trying the second time. European school system sucks, because it's very hard and gettting straight A's is almost impossible, at least in Poland, where you have fourteen subjects per year and to get an straight A from a subject, you need to take a part in competition in this field. When I was learning a certain math sheet, all the kids were just doing the ones they knew. And since I need help most of the time (autism) I was sitting at the back with the teacher and an EA. The teacher asked "which ones should we start with?" I pointed to the ones that I didn't understand and said "these ones because I understand the others better than this one" I was expecting an okay, but they both looked at me and said they were proud that I was choosing to practice my weaknesses instead of just doing the ones I already know. I think of that day every test I have and it makes me smile :)

Focusing on weaknesses is not the best approach for "getting good grades". It is best approach to "understand".
If you are a try hard student, there is a lot of chance that you understand most of the concepts and are likely to get good grades. The one you don't understands are probably the ones that no one else understands as well.
The teachers usually do not put the hardest topics on exams or they do not count it a lot most of the times. There is a lot of chance that your weakness might not even be in the exam.
Instead focus on topics that all the class understands and the teacher emphasizes on. You should understand your weaknesses but don't break your head over it.
This is from experience. I used to focus on weaknesses for hours and they were not even covered in exams. I wish I took that time to focus on other topics.

Best studying hack ever that got me accepted in all my country's best universities programms I applied for, for free tuition- never learned for a test or exam and skipped as many classes as possible in my senior year.

If you have a variety of questions in quizzes, then use question type. If you have more chapters or lessons, probably use the other.

I read the whole book ahead of time to study (just reading no writing etc) at least until I've read it twice. Then read my notes of the examples my professor had previously given about the topic. I use those examples as an answer and it always work.

Question…what teachers call u a “try hard”? My teachers r always pleased when people improve or get wonderful marks, they want u to study hard and do ur maximum

Tbh if you ask me the best way to study (for me since I have trouble focusing) is to make it into a game. For example, in ELA there is something called quizlet and you can put your materials in then play the asteroid game. That way your both studying and playing a video game therefor your being forced to know it to advance

you should make a playlist where each chapter is covered in 1 hour (actually videos from youtube as we have a big problem finding one)
if you would put a little effort we would be greatly helpful to you

This is actually a pretty good trick, I also do it, though I don't make graphs, i keep my weak chapters in the back of my mind, I am currently at a phase of life where I prioritise skills over grades so I have stopped doing such things, I mostly aim for a B+ grade(best is A) unless I am naturally good at it and I focus on learning extra industry oriented skills

I’ve been doing this! It’s so frustrating because I know that I work hard, but I’m not seeing the results I want (yet). My logic behind doing the first example is that everything is going to build off of each other from beginning to end, so I’ve just been studying everything in order from beginning to end. I’ve been working really hard but not seeing the results I want yet, so I guess I’ll try this way instead.
