European school system sucks, because it's very hard and gettting straight A's is almost impossible, at least in Poland, where you have fourteen subjects per year and to get an straight A from a subject, you need to take a part in competition in this field. Otherwise, if you study hard enough, you'll get only an A.

When I was learning a certain math sheet, all the kids were just doing the ones they knew. And since I need help most of the time (autism) I was sitting at the back with the teacher and an EA. The teacher asked "which ones should we start with?" I pointed to the ones that I didn't understand and said "these ones because I understand the others better than this one" I was expecting an okay, but they both looked at me and said they were proud that I was choosing to practice my weaknesses instead of just doing the ones I already know. I think of that day every test I have and it makes me smile :)

At 3rd night before going to bed tell yourself what you want to do tomorrow.And keep reminding yourself what not to do during work.
My maths department at school did this with our exams. They provided feedback of what we got wrong by topic and set additional work per student based on that. I’m sure it was a lot of extra work for the teachers but it made a significant difference to everyone’s grade
I know it’s probably too late and that you’re probably set into your classes already, but try taking as many college classes as possible. Just doing that can put you 1-2 years ahead

And he told us that instead of looking simply at the write answers to what we got wrong, look at the "type" or "category" of questions we got wrong. Were the majority of questions about the bones? Muscles? Motion anaylsis? I targeted that on the exam I just took and I did alot better 👍
My teachers sometimes like to refer to me as the “over achiever” since I’m always looking for work when in reality I just want to graduate early. No one’s bullied me for it or anything but it just feels weird being called out as the “over achiever” just for doing more than what you ask
Focusing on weaknesses is not the best approach for "getting good grades". It is best approach to "understand". If you are a try hard student, there is a lot of chance that you understand most of the concepts and are likely to get good grades. The one you don't understands are probably the ones that no one else understands as well. The teachers usually do not put the hardest topics on exams or they do not count it a lot most of the times. There is a lot of chance that your weakness might not even be in the exam. Instead focus on topics that all the class understands and the teacher emphasizes on. You should understand your weaknesses but don't break your head over it. This is from experience. I used to focus on weaknesses for hours and they were not even covered in exams. I wish I took that time to focus on other topics.
My teacher has a booklet for use with each or our skills, after every big test, she has us review our missed or weakest topics and work on it in the booklet

Tbh if you ask me the best way to study (for me since I have trouble focusing) is to make it into a game. For example, in ELA there is something called quizlet and you can put your materials in then play the asteroid game. That way your both studying and playing a video game therefor your being forced to know it to advance
you should make a playlist where each chapter is covered in 1 hour (actually videos from youtube as we have a big problem finding one) if you would put a little effort we would be greatly helpful to you
This is actually a pretty good trick, I also do it, though I don't make graphs, i keep my weak chapters in the back of my mind, I am currently at a phase of life where I prioritise skills over grades so I have stopped doing such things, I mostly aim for a B+ grade(best is A) unless I am naturally good at it and I focus on learning extra industry oriented skills
I’ve been doing this! It’s so frustrating because I know that I work hard, but I’m not seeing the results I want (yet). My logic behind doing the first example is that everything is going to build off of each other from beginning to end, so I’ve just been studying everything in order from beginning to end. I’ve been working really hard but not seeing the results I want yet, so I guess I’ll try this way instead.
