- I have to remove the gas tank to make room for the new inner rocker and cab corner panels. There are a couple of ways to do this and i attempt both.

finally a decent video that actually shows you what to do and isn't some jackass talking into a camera
Thanks Jacob. To be fair, I am a jackass that talks into a camera!
@@OldeCarrGuy i get so frustrated when I'm looking for information on how to actually do something and you got all these folks making videos that don't actually show anything they just talk for 5 minutes and show them picking up parts, this video was very helpful and stright to the point appreciate it
so you have to take the bed off to drop the tank??
You don’t have to, mine already needed to come off. Certainly made it easier though!
Hi guy
Well Hello to you to!
Good vid!
Thanks Eh!
If you havnt thought about it i would suggest replaceing the lines that run from the sending unti over the frame that are somewhat notorious for collasping. If you can i would replace as much of it with steel/stainless steel line and use as little rubber there.
Good idea! Thanks for the information!
Get ahold of me I can make you up a dale sticker if your interested I give you a good deal
Got to write this shhhhtuff down lol
Keepin it family friendly!
@@OldeCarrGuy LOL
Are you sure this 1977, American made truck doesn't use metric bolts? Lol! That tank is huge!!!
Winnipeg Car Life trucks of that vintage had disappointing fuel mileage, so they needed lots of capacity to make up for that.
Tomato to-MAto! LOL
Are you seam sealing the edges?
Factory left gaps for drainage not that it does any good lol
Yes! But not until everything is completed!

Glad all the rust is gone. She's looking good.
We’re getting there!
Would a fuel cel be an option or is it not practical?
It’s always an option! But the tank that’s there is in great condition!
Funny outakes!
Glad you liked them. There's always lots to choose from!
When your all done you should spray some oil or undercoating all in there
Oh for sure!
Soak it we do live in canada the salt on the roads is sickening sometimes . My car was white before that rain we just got
Good video Jason
