It can be frustrating when although a person is good at mowing and using the weedwacker, they're not a gardener. When my husband helps me, I spend a lot of time telling him, "No! Don't pull up or dig that plant out, because it's a perennial and will bloom again!" 😅 Maybe put a little flag or marker so next time he'll give your plant area a wider berth.
Your garden is going to be so full of pretty flowers and delicious food. Carry on!
