In the future look at vermicomposting with worms. I have a worm bed and every 6 months that bedding goes to the plants. Used soil goes back to the worm bin. You can scale this on any level. I currently am a full time RVer with a screw on lid dog food container that is my worm bin. I can use the worms for fishing, and the bedding is perfect for my size of house plant containers.

That sounds like a great idea. I'll have to look into that! Thanks 😊!

Why would you directly put that into your bed after the 10 bag nightmare? That's crazy. All you have to do is look at 10 videos on this platform to know that Black Kow has been very inconsistent and cutting corners for quite some time now. People usually sift it before adding it to their gardens because BK is known to have a criminal amount of sticks and uncomposted material. BK is very aware of the pissy product that they are putting out. Don't be loyal to a fault. These companies are not loyal to customers.

You know, live and learn. All the videos I've seen with the exception of the one I mentioned all used BK and never mentioned any issues and in the beginning I didn't have any issues either. However, let me tell you, this opened my eyes 👀! I won't be using it anymore. Now I have a second raised bed to empty because of BK. This was a lesson well learned.

That's where I got the new poo. I don't care for the big clumps of poo in it, though. I wish it was all just broken down and smooth. I think I'm going to switch to either worm castings or chicken poo.

While the city I live in is kind of "the country" it's still the city. I'll have to do some checking around. Thanks for the advice!

I've stopped using the Black Cow and now use the Mushroom compost. Sorry but Black Cow is trash now.

Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. What's funny is that prior to these 20 some-odd bags, I wasn't having any issues with their compost. It just started happening all of a sudden.
