I met the McKameys two times at the Hiawassee Fairgrounds in Hiawassee Georgia When Miss Peg would get filled with the spirit of God she would get so happy that her shoes would go flying off of her feet into the crowd❤ everyone loved her so much and her family over the years that they sang they're all wonderful singers and she will be greatly always remembered by so many people all over the world❤ Peg had talked with her family about kicking her shoes off on stage she her family didn't really want her to do that but she told at the Hiawassee Music Hall she told her family on stage that she just couldn't do it she was full of God's wonderful spirit and she kicked her shoes off that went flying into the crowd and someone caught them that woman is filled with the Holy Spirit and she was a very blessed woman no doubt that she is holding hands with the father now singing wonderful songs and music❤ I can tell you one thing she wouldn't be Miss Peg McKinney if she wasn't filled with the Holy Spirit and kicked her shoes off on stage everywhere she went she loved her father more than anything on Earth and now she is with the Heavenly Father in heaven wrapped in his loving arms❤ remembering The McKameys in your prayers does sure do need at this time
This was my favorite Gospel group. Grew up listening to them sing as a teenage girl. Still love hearing them today. Peg will truly be missed. But I see a lot of peg in her daughter Connie. They are All a blessing to hear. They love the lord.
Peg was one of my all time favorites! What a blessing....heaven is rejoicing for sure can't wait to see her there! My prayers for peace and the presence of God to comfort you all🙏
I grew up listening to the McKamey’s and loved Peg. I wrote her an email one time and she replied she was just down to earth and real! When Peg McKamey sang you could tell she believed what she sang about and wanted you to believe too! I know she is with the one she sang about with such love and devotion. RIP Peg you are home, I am reminded of the song they sang A Borrowed Tomb “This body I live in is borrowed too. I can see signs of decay, but all will be well when I leave an empty shell when he calls me away.” All is Well

She is a precious soul and loved her JESUS. I always enjoyed watching her and her sisters sing. I loved the way she let the Spirit have His way while singing on stage.God Bless the family of this dear sister Peg. ✝️💜
Such a precious soul. She’s now in the presence of the one she loves and has worshiped from afar. I’ve always said there is a difference in singing and singing to the Lord. That’s when you sing in the spirit and your surroundings don’t effect you. She did that so many times. She will be missed. Prayers for her loved ones.

What a sadness i feel in my soul to know the sweet spirit of our sister Peg Mckamey Bean has transitioned. But yet i rejoiced she has made it home. For to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. For precious in the sight of God is the death of his saints. May you rest in sweet peace my sister and may God bless your loving husband and family who are greiving your loss. I am so glad to have met you before you passed to gloryland.
