Many of these Steve Walsh Demos from 81 and 82, 83 are DEFINITELY STREETS outtakes...most notably, is the fact that he's playing the Yamaha CP-80 Piano and his Oberheim Synth, and that is DEFINITELY Mike Slamer on guitar! But yes....AWESOME STUFF! Never made it to any album, for obvious reasons; 1. Over 3:35 in length ( most of them ) AND they are not commercial enough!
I love this song so much and knew it from the KBFH live album from Streets. I was always wondering if there was a studio version of it. And well here it is. Thank you very much for posting it Linnéa !!!!!
Wow, why did this song not appear on an album ? It's a great tune. I feel like I discovered new ( old ) Kansas/ Streets. Pretty exciting because Kansas is my favorite band.
I know! Streets did play it live however, a shorter version but still. The vocal harmonies on this song give me goosebumps every time. You have probably seen this video : ruclips.net/video/J5sxMGVXBQY/видео.htmlsi=yoq-Mt750GR73T2A
@Beth Leinicke Steve owned everything he's ever attempted as far as a musician. I just hope that one day he will be able to own the credit he is rightfully due for his talent...dedication and God given ability that he poured out all the wonderful years he lent to us.
Probably a mix of Steve Walsh and Paul Rodgers. You may as well copy the best; pity Bon Jovi did not have the songs or the voice. He won't be bothered as he made plenty of money, but that does not buy soul and authenticity.

you're right, and streets did play this live at least once.. wish it'd been on an album too :)
Linnea Skoglund Do you recommend the Shadowman album?
@@bweeks8869 I do!! It's a great album. My favorites from it are Shadowman and Keep On Knocking... I listen to it all the time!

Love this song. Thank you for posting it.
Heard Streets do this one live once or twice. I believe this evolved into the song We're Not Alone Anymore on Kansas' Power Album.
Väldigt bra band. Hoppas de skulle spela på Sweden Rock Festival nästa år ❤
That became a song by Walsh's band Streets in 1983 (if you don't already know).
Yes, it's on the King Biscuit Flower Hour live show cd.... No studio version though sadly :-(
also, the live version never had the second part of the verse, only half.
Linnea Skoglund oh I see. Interesting
+Linnea Skoglund I love this tune. I have this song on my "Streets CD."
@@linneasaoirse I really love the second part of that verse, too!
so this was who Bon Jovi was trying to be ?
JON BON JOVI was popular because of RICHIE SAMBORA AND NUTTY GIRLS BUYING HIS NOISE,STEVE WALSH IS IMMORTAL,HIS VOICE IN THE BEGINING WAS INCREDIBLE
Probably a mix of Steve Walsh and Paul Rodgers. You may as well copy the best; pity Bon Jovi did not have the songs or the voice. He won't be bothered as he made plenty of money, but that does not buy soul and authenticity.
Så sjukt bäst är han... Känsla i varenda stavelse, verkligen.
Exakt! Rå känsla som går rätt in i hjärtat och kramar ur själen helt enkelt.
was that a headstand or a handstand lol!
haha his head looks like its on there..some "jazz chords" undoubtedly. :)
