Both of you have to download the 5.0.0 version. Had the same problem as y'all but was fixed after I used the 5.0.0 version. The one he showed in the video.

My ps4 controller connects but does not show up in the list of ds4 available controllers even when the test screen shows it's inputs are all testing fine. Restarting the program does nothing. All mentioned software is installed. using bluetooth dongle 8bitDo with software installed. Again; on the DS4 controller input tester, all input buttons and axis work, yet the controller does not show up in any lists in this program. What is wrong?
Awesome video. However after using it for a while my controller light changes color when launching the game and then I find that my custom controller profile is not being used in game because I switched some buttons. Any idea how to fix this?

In Bluetooth Devices When activating Ds4 There's my normal Ps4 Controller And there's Xbox 360 Ds4 something like that When I play a game they keep interfiering with each other how do I fix this I changed my binds with my controller so when it works put it would go back to the normal controller input rather than the xbox 360 input as it should stay They just keep switching

hi there. I know this video is a year old but I need some help with controller setup on DS4... I downloaded the program and setup my controller and everything, but now I'm wondering how to connect my controller solely with DS4 and disconnect it from Steam. You see, each time I connect my controller, Steam reads my controller (DS4 does too but I think the Steam settings dominate my controller because the color of the light that appears on my controller is the one associated w/ my Steam controller settings rather than my DS4 profile)... your help is appreciated.

One thing to note on my case, after installing DS4 and .NET I had a separate popup with 5 options and had to then install 1 more thing from the DS4 application, I can't get it to trigger again but it popped up when i first opened DS4. So this might be an added step for some.
I realise I'm very late to this but this is a great video and got me set up in no time using ps4 controller. Can you help with how I could swap the thumbstick controls over ? L3/R3 ? I have a disability in my left hand and a few of the steam games I play use the L3 for movement and R3 to look around. It would make things so much easier if they were reversed . I have tried allocating L3 to R3 and vice versa in the profile in DS4 but it hasn't made any difference. Any ideas ? keep up the great work. Thanks.

Did you check your input lag from Controller Readings menu? Is it 1ms? I'm having 7-8ms on it with 1ms polling rate settings.
