This guide is VERY helpful! I originally wanted a Pickup, but I honestly don’t see myself hauling much or going outdoors. I just want something with a lot of leg room so I think a Crossover would be perfect for me.
Suv, it’s smaller and weighs less and is closer to the ground so it stops faster and you have more control, and suvs are smaller and they have more weight over the rear axles which makes them better than trucks because they have no weight over rear axle providing no traction,
AWD SUV with a good set of winter tires out handle big heavy 4x4 with winter tires anytime of the day. The only time that a 4x4 Truck will be better in the snow is if you're taking it into a slight deeper snow (winter off-roading) due to it higher ground clearance.
So dumb question.. but if I have no intention to ever tow and rarely use the bed for storage.. is it pointless to buy an F150 lightning for example if my main goal was to buy an electric vehicle that was extremely spacious inside for the 4-5 passengers? Like the backseat legroom in an F150 is more than ANY electric SUV on the market. Plus you have the front trunk for the usual things you’d stick in the back of a crossover. Then the bed for anytime you may need it occasionally and less if a increased fuel concern (although the home charging cost of an F150 lightning will def be higher than a Tesla Model Y with its bigger battery and higher weight)
I have a pickup and while the cab is nice, theres nowhwre to put stuff thats climate controlled or waterproof. And bed caps with bedrug installed in the bed costs 3500 dollars.
With SUV you can sleep inside it easily on the super cold nights or if you hear growling in the woods 👌 Plus everything is covered and protected and won’t be stolen out of your truck bed
I have absolutely no need for a truck, will never tow or haul anything ..... but I still want one as they look badass...
😂

This is the perfect video I was looking for! Lots of people who want a pickup don’t need one!
completely agree
The 2022 ford maverick has solved this problem.
How? Elaborate.
Maybe if it wasn't so marked up over MSRP at dealers lol
One time I had someone look at my Acura RDX and say “wow I love this truck” and I was confused AF
5:20 when you skip leg day
Well done. Which of the two do you think handles better in Winter driving conditions?
Which ever has 4x4 or AWD and winter tires. Some trucks have it, some don't. Same with SUVs.
rear drive or front drive makes a difference ? (which set of wheels is powered by the motor?) Are trucks 4 wheel drive?

@@AlaskanSnowLeopard 4Runner just entered the chat.
So a pickup if I’m hauling a lot, an suv if I go off-road, and a sedan for pretty much everything else?
In an SUV or Crossover you have both worlds,

SUV forever 💪💪
This Video is made for modern vehicles. Some / Many factors are different with old ons
Cuv much more practical for me and my family but I still would love to have a pickup :(
Minivans are more practical for families, pickups are usually mean’t for work!

Minivans are the same as 3-row crossovers,
which one is better for camping among those 2?
Minivan!
Pick up-check camping toppers
