How to Assemble and Use the Graco® SmartSense™ Soothing Swing

It’s easy to assemble and use the Graco SmartSense Soothing Cry Detection Baby Swing. In this video, Graco expert Laura shows you how to set up your baby swing in a few quick and easy steps.
First, she sets up the seat ring smooth side down and attaches one recline assembly to each side of the ring, securing them in place with the supplied screws and a Philips head screwdriver. Next, she attaches the seat pan to the seat ring using four additional screws.
Then, she takes the seat tube and inserts it into the recline assembly, flipping the baby swing over to unbuckle the seat straps. She slides the seat pad over the seat and threads the harness straps through the openings. Ensure all provided straps are properly pulled through the slot openings.
Next, she flips the seat over again and wraps the seat pad over the frame, snapping it together using the button fasteners. She then attaches the seat to the swing base by aligning the seat legs with the mount openings and snapping it into place. Make sure to pull up on the seat to ensure it’s securely locked onto the swing base.
Finally, she inserts the toy bar into the back of the seat base and attaches the plush toys.
