Valerie, truthfully I would never have known that you read your voice overs if you hadn't told us. :) Don't apologize or be down on yourself for the way you do your videos, I think what you do is great and I'm pretty sure everyone else thinks the same as I do. You are Much Braver than I am to make these videos and share with us your life in your home. So Thank you for sharing!!! :)
I love your voice overs and I vote you don’t change a thing. During your videos it feels like I’m visiting with a dear friend and I truly appreciate your honest simplistic approach to life. Thank you!!
I really appreciate that you take the time to narrate and tell us what’s happening and that you take the time and put the effort into writing down what you’d like to say. It shows that you care about what you are doing. You are very sweet and very genuine . You’re doing a beautiful job, this is what makes your channel , YOUR channel , and I love it. Change nothing! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Valerie, I love the voice overs. I prefer them over just talking. I find the videos that people talk along with filming too much chatter at times. Keep doing what you are doing. Love it!
I fill my sink with hot soapy water to wash dishes the rinse under running water or fill the other sink to rinse. Always have done that to save on hot water and electricity. Just the way my mother taught me.
I love your channel just the way it is, don't be down on yourself because you do your voice over, I actually like it this way. Don't worry we all love you ❤❤🎉🎉
Valerie I vote for keeping your voice overs. You are warm and friendly, and it feels like I am actually visiting with you! Love you, your family and the fur babies.
Valerie, do what is best for you and keep being the true authentic person you are! I look forward to watching your channel, listening to your voice overs, and you’re also one of my favorite RUclipsrs!!! ❤
Valerie, keep the videos just as they are and have been…it’s who you are and it’s the way we like them…the snow is beautiful, we have the horrible fires in Southern California just south of us..stay safe and warm…
I like your voice overs it feels more structured and organized and like you put in effort and aren't just rambling, i think you're a better youtuber than most because your vids do feel structured and professional...I like the voice overs
Honestly, Valerie, I like the voiceovers better. Don't ask me why; I just do. I'm so glad you guys survived the storm. Not having any water had to be awful. It's brutally cold here. We had an ice storm and snow as well. Kentucky was shut down for most of the week until the road crews could get everyone's power on and clear the roads. We lost power for a few hours but other than that we survived.
Oh my dear Valerie, I love the way you "narrate" your videos, I would have never suspected you were reading it! Kudos to you for a great job! You know how to keep our attention and you're always so interesting! So give yourself a little grace and don't be so hard on yourself, my friend!❤
Hi Val ..you’re sweet and kind and everybody loves you the way you are!! I love your videos they bring me up when I’m having an off day!! You and your family and Mr Tim give us hope that we can look forward to another day with a brighter future!!Stay warm and safe!!God Bless you and your family!!🙏😇🇺🇸🥳☮️✝️🎄☃️☃️⛄️🎉🎊day
We had a snow storm, then an ice storm, then more snow. People all over town were losing electricity. We've got another big snow storm coming this Friday here in Ky. I know you will be glad when you finally get your dishwasher. That will save you a lot of time. I knew we were expecting the snow and ice storm and there was a possibility I'd be without electric to wash dishes. I stocked up on paper plates and cups. I got out candles, flashlights, oil lamps and sleeping bags. We don't have a generator....you'll be so glad you got one. I look forward to your videos. After watching your latest one, I can't wait until the next one comes out.
I was just thinkin’ that I hoped you put out a new video soon, and here it is! You bring such joy with your content. I love your voice overs. You do such a great job spreading loving and comfy cozy vibes. 💜💯
Please don’t change how you do voice over’s. That is one best of many other things I love about your channel. You are a sweet soul and it shows through your videos ❤️❤️❤️
Valerie, I’ve been watching since the beginning of love your channel, DON’T change voice overs! Thank you for all that you do and for being so real. I enjoy watching you and Tim make over your home and especially your cooking. You are such an inspiration! ❤
I love your videos the way they are. I dont like a lot of talking. In fact, if someone talks too much before they begin doing whatever, I have turned off videos because of that. I'm so glad your electricity came back on. I'm in Alabama. We are expecting around 7 inches of snow on Friday. I hope we get snow and not ice. Enjoy that wood stove!🔥🐈🐶🐶
Valarie, your voiceovers are fine. I like it this way ,and you don't have to change the way you do your videos. Be who you are. That's how come we love you ,I will be so happy for you when. You can get you a dishwasher, you surely deserve one, , I am sorry you lost power ,sometimes old man winter is rough.
This is almost embarrassing, but everytime I see that you have a new video, I get so excited. Like a little girl when her favorite cartoon comes on. 😉 ❤ Faye
I love your voice overs! You have such a gift of story telling. don't you worry you're doing a wonderful job Valerie😊 if it's hard for you no worries I love hearing you it's like listening to a good story 😊 I'm proud of you OK so no worries 👍 ♥️ 😊
Hey Valerie 👋. Your voiceovers are fine. Don't worry about it. Do what is best for you. Looks like you can cook or put a tea kettle on your wood stove. Maybe make a pot of soup.
Valerie, i love the voice overs! Dont feel less than, i couldnt do it without voice overs either. Stay true to yourself and continue what you do. Thats why your followers LOVE you. No problems for me listening to you. I love your channel
That generator will pay for itself eventually, you'll be glad you have it! Your videos are perfect the way they are, don't change a thing. I love seeing the snow, as long as it doesn't stick around too long😂
Valerie, don't change a thing. I love the way you edit your videos, and the music. Sometimes I thinks other people talk to much and are talking just to hear their own vioce. Keep up the good work. God Bless from NC!
Valerie the reason I love your channel is because your videos are great. I have other channels I watch and to be honest I mostly zip through all the chatter which is not even related to the videos these ladies are doing. Just keep to your true self and do what is working for you. Your channel is perfect and you have the nicest bunch of people who love watching what you do. Best wishes from Scotland to you and all your family.
Hi Valerie! I live in the country outside a small town in Mid Missouri. We are always losing power for some reason or another. I used to fill my bathtubs with water when I knew a storm was coming so we could at least flush. But we have a lot of outages just on normal days. So I ended up putting a 55 gallon barrel of water in my utility room with a hand pump from Amazon. Didn't have to worry about not being able to flush anymore. You could also use that water or water from your creek to wash dishes with. You would just have to boil the water first. When you don't live in the city, things are not as convenient. But you will learn little tricks to make life easier. We grew up learning how to "make do" when it comes to the farm. That is also why I keep a well stocked pantry including shelf stable milk from the Dollar tree. Evaporated milk works too when it comes to cooking and baking. In years past we have been snowed in for a week with no way to get out. Snow so deep the plow truck and road graders were getting stuck. But we didn't worry because we lived prepared all the time. Just thought I would mention what I do. Maybe it may give you some ideas.
I love learning new recipes from you! Keep 3 gallon of water in each persons room for their use. Ask me how I know? I live in mountains and we have went a week before without electricity. I can do without better than water. And we had 4 kids and in laws and grand baby with us. Spit baths and only washing hair when you have to. Can warm up water on the grill in a pot.
I like your voice overs! You don't need to change a thing with your videos so don't feel down! I like your channel just the way it is! ❤ I think what you're doing is great and with how you been sharing your stories about your home life. I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year! 🙂 The snow looks beautiful. ❄️ I know, the weather here in my area here in Louisiana been really cold with freezing cold temps coming our way.
Girl when you get your home completely renovated y’all need to invest in a stand alone generator. I have a Generac one and it does my whole house which is almost 3000 sq ft. Best thing we ever purchased. Best $11,000 we ever spent. They do offer financing. We just paid cash. It’s wonderful to know you will never be without power. We got ours tge year we had the worse ice storm in Arkansas and we were going to be without power 2 weeks and my mother-in-law was living with us and she was on oxygen . We did wind up being without power but for 3 weeks instead of 2. But we were only without it firc2 days while the install d the system. You will not regret it. I think they may be cheaper now.❤❤❤ love your content. Always look forward to your videos. You and Tim are one of my favorites.
I like the voice overs and I didn’t even know you read from a script. We were so blessed to have our power. In the fall we were without power for a while. It’s terrible. One winter we didn’t have water for days. We melted the snow, boiled it to use for washing dishes ,till we got paper products.
I can't believe you wash the dishes under a running tap.You should fill one sink with hot soapy water, wash the dishes in it then rinse quickly in the other sink. This way you'd use half the amount of hot water and dish soap.Happy new year.
I use to do mine like that for better part of 40 years. Now, I prefer fresh water on my clean dishes. The soapy water gets dirty and then you’re washing your dishes in dirty water.
Truthfully I never knew you were reading from a script. It sounds absolutely normal to me. I get tongue tied too but I think you are a natural Valerie and I watch you because I love you and your family and just keep on keeping on and happy New Year again. 🎉
During the blizzard of 93 I was thankful to have a wood stove, from Western North Carolina, I heated water in a big pot on the stove to do dishes so glad I had the forethought to catch a bunch of water up in everything I could before the storm hit. We were days without power. Cooked on the wood stove.also.
Hi Valerie sorry about your lights I know it's mother nature that we can't do anything about it but if you have a wooden stove and a grill you can stay warm and cook I love a wooden stove keep warm and safe 😊
I think you do an awesome job! It doesn’t matter that you read from a script. I couldn’t do the videos. I get nervous I’ve always enjoyed decorating my home during different seasons, but I couldn’t do videos. I enjoy watching all who can do the videos.
Girl you need you wash those electrical plates and walls. Give me a holler and I’ll come help ya😬 I was a professional cleaner that had to pass HUD inspections 🤨 for almost 30 yrs. It’s the biggest thing I hate about myself lol Every where I go I’m inspecting. lol love the work you have put in. Can’t wait to see the finished product ♥️♥️♥️
Pretty snow covered view. Sorry to hear you lost electricity for over a day, and Tim drove on the ice, that's so risky. We had ice on Saturday, lots of wrecks around, then 18 inches of snow Sunday! We were stuck home for a few days, thankfully no loss of power. Great you have a generator now. Have a blessed week. 😊❄️🩵☃️
Snowy days come and a good way to prepare a small generator that will keep your well running and the other generator to keep everything else running. Also a way to keep dishes and other things going is to keep a crockpot full of hot water.
Valerie, I love your videos. Keep doing what you're doing 👌 the scenery is lovely take some pictures and frame them looks like a poster all my ❤️ and blessings to Y'all ❤❤❤❄️❄️❄️❄️
Valerie..don't worry, you come across just fine. We know you are a hard working, caring SOUTHERN GIRL! With a big❤..Thank God for Wood Stoves & Generators. Hope you all got extra bottled water for emergencies..Dishes.. 😮gotta love them. Where are the biscuts,or rolls?😊
Valerie, there's no need to apologize. I look forward to the notification of a new video! Please do not change a thing, and the views are beautiful!P.s put a pot of water on the stove to heat .FYI so you can wash dishes with hot water! I still do that till this day . Thank you again for sharing you and your family with us.
Valarie I think you do a fantastic job with the voice overs. I'm so glad you got a generator. Living in the mountains in the country, a generator is a necessity not a luxury. In my part of West Virginia we are under at least 8 inches of snow and ice with more predicted for this weekend. lots of folks still without power here. Your dinner looked delicious! Can't wait for Tim to start on granny's bathroom renovation!
Val honey plz continue with the voice over i really like it that way, some times i watch some videos n too much chatting it really annoys me, so just keep on doing wat ur doing 👍👍
Hi Valerie, I’m from West Virginia. We all have generators here in our area, because of the power going off so frequently. I know Tim was a carpenter by trade, but I’m not sure if he ever done electrical work. A lot of people in our area and especially older people have Generac. These just kick on using natural gas or propane whenever your electric goes off and they can run your whole house. I don’t have one of those. We have a 7500 W generator. Hopefully my goal one day is to have one, but until then we make do with what we have..I was gonna tell you and you can run this by him because I’m sure he knows probably what the hubby done. In our garage, it can even be done outside of the house. He installed a 220 hook up so when our electric goes off, we kick the main breaker and all the 220s except for the one that he has installed for our generator, we hook our generator up to that And we don’t have to have cords. You can power most of your house you can use your light switches you can watch TV. It runs your refrigerator in freezer. The only thing it doesn’t run is your hot water heater, stove, and dryer… I know it sounds complicated, but it’s not you just have to have somebody to know what they’re doing . I tell you when he done that it made life so much easier for us when the electric is off which in our area is very frequent. I love all your videos and I think you guys are doing a great job on the house ❤❤❤
I love your videos . Just the way they are. It's tough when the power goes out . But it sure is pretty with the snow . We're suppose to get snow and freezing rain starting Friday and Saturday here east of Raleigh N.C. But even after these winter fronts go through still going to be mighty cold . 🥶 we got to go pick up a few things tomorrow at the grocery store and pull our generator out of barn and crank it up for a little trial run. You are a cooking woman I know your family loves your good food. Thanks for sharing ❤
Valerie please don't feel like you have to apologize for your voiceovers. We appreciate you letting us come along with you and your family to watch the homestead you all are creating. To be honest with you sometimes when I watch youtube videos without voiceovers all you see is that person's face. I'd rather watch you actually going through your day doing something and including all of us. Thanks for your videos.
Philadelphia got only 1.5 inches. It’s smart that you have generators for emergencies. Since your entry is into the kitchen, you’ve got that nice multi-tiered deck that certainly can serve for bad weather boot/shoe removal as well as ‘in-house-shoe/slipper’ storage.
Hello Val , thank you for video. Sure hate you lost power for days but at least ya'll stayed warm and a grill to cook on, that was a blessing. We use all electric heat, so when Henlena came throught NC we were out of power for days. Dinner looks real good as always. We are having ice storms here and down in 20's at night....still staying warm wrapped up in covers and pull overs....lol....much love to ya'll.....
I enjoy your videos. You have your own unique way of sharing your content. I think you should do what works for you. A happy and blessed new year to you and your family!
We're supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow here in Tennessee on Friday. The pantry is stocked and the essentials are bought. I'm glad you had the wood stove to stay warm.
Hello Valerie!! I love your videos just the way you do them!!! I look forward to your videos each week!!!! The snow is beautiful!!! Im glad yall are cozy and warm with your Fisher Wood Heater!!! We have a fire going in ours everyday its cold outside!!! Were in the middle of a artic blast right now!! Its really cold in East Texas right now!!! The meal looked delicious 😊 Until your next one take care and God bless friend 🙏 😊❤
I make a stroganoff with ground turkey that is better than it is with ground beef. I brown it with onions and garlic in 2 TBSP butter. Sprinkle flour over browned meat mixture and stir until flour is browned, add small can of mushrooms stems and pieces with juice. Let heat for a few minutes. Add one can cream of chicken soup and heat til bubbling, then stir in sour cream. Serve over egg noodles with Lesueur green peas with mushrooms and pearl onions heated with butter. Eat with buttered browned crusty rolls. SO good. Yours looks so good. I'll have to try it that way for a change. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
I love your voiceovers! Don’t change a thing! The snow looks so pretty on the mountains! We are due for a snowstorm on Friday here in Northeast Georgia. Everyone is excited for the snow. It’s been a while since we’ve had snow. Take care and stay warm! ❄️☃️❄️☃️

I agree, sometimes watching other channels with so much talking, I check the time stamp. Enjoy watching as you voice over/work.
I enjoy the voice overs too. To me, it is calming, relaxing and feels like you are just talking to a friend! You are talking to friends out here.
Do you! Your voiceovers are great!
I fill my sink with hot soapy water to wash dishes the rinse under running water or fill the other sink to rinse. Always have done that to save on hot water and electricity.

You can’t tell somebody how to do their dishes in their own home. You’re being absurd, Valerie don’t listen to this person.
As slow as Val water runs she is fine on her WELL water........

Your voice overs are fine and believe you me alot of them have to write it down too
Love watching you
Your true and you
Beautiful video I love that you live in the mountains, and your working on your forever home❤
Keep doing what you're doing 👌 the scenery is lovely take some pictures and frame them looks like a poster all my ❤️ and blessings to Y'all ❤❤❤❄️❄️❄️❄️
Valerie, We love you just the way you are!❤️💕🥰🤩😊🥹
Valerie..don't worry, you come across just fine.
I put grated Parmesan cheese on my garlic bread . It’s really tasty. Love your videos ! Can’t wait for the bath remodel
Good Afternoon Valerie Tim & family,I so enjoy each video.I have learned a lot by watching you & Tim.Thank you!Have a blessed week.❤
Valerie you are perfect the way you don’t you change a thing love your vlogs from Canada 🇨🇦
I have enjoyed this very much and I think you I am so sorry about your power outage I do know how that is. God bless all of you 🙏❤️🌹
I love your videos .
Stay warm. I hope you won't need the generator. ☃️
I love your voiceovers. Dont change. ❤ Page from CapeMay, NJ
I love that candle you lit! They are the best!
I like voice overs too Valerie , you do whatever you’re comfortable with , dinner looks so delicious ❤️☘️
Yes, you absolutely CAN use old candle jars for food storage, safely.
I absolutely love the voice overs!!! Your videos are so refreshing! Continue to do you!❤
You're videos are perfect just the way you do them. All the content is so real and all the wonderful food you cook is amazing .
Valerie I love your voice overs. And your videos. You are real to me.
Your voice overs are perfectly fine, love your channel, keep it up you are doing great.
LeSeur peas are the best!!!
I love them mixed in white rice with butter, salt and pepper. 😋😋😋
Your channel is great dont change a thing

I love your channel just the way it is. Please don’t change a thing ❤
Your voice overs are fine. Love your channel💕
