Excellent family video, the wife and I are thinking of taking our sons to Ocracoke this year. After going to the Outer Banks since '16. Tired of the traffic going up to Duck and Carolla. Seeing all that amazing elbow room on that beach is definitely a huge incentive! We have a Jeep TJ, can you drive your Jeep on the beach in Ocracoke like you can in Carolla?

I’m not 100% sure when I googled it. Google said you could drive in the beach there once you bought a 4wd pass.. that said I never saw anyone on the beach when we where there. Hope that helps out. Save travels and thanks for watching

@@JeepTJWheelin I think it was 30 minutes and we caught it at Frisco
@@Jdubbsotheradventure We heard it was almost 3 hours from Hatteras. 30 minutes is much better. Thank you!
@@JeepTJWheelinit is a 1 hour free ferry from hatteras it changes slightly depending on the channel changing. Yes you can drive on the beach in certain areas if you buy the permit
