It's far less chaotic when you actually can hear (and read) what they are singing. I think EBU did them dirty both in the sound mix itself during the full performance and in the song recap. The editors chose the "screamiest" part of the song for the recap all the time, without some of the more generally "listener friendly" melodic parts of it.
Really! I remembered it (I usually like to discover the songs right on the first live) as way "messier", somehow, but now that I listen to it, it's actually nice. It felt a bit too overpowered by the base, which made it sound too chaotic (I know it's probably meant to be, in a way, but not so much that you cannot fully appreciate it), here it's more balanced and I'm getting some aspects I couldn't hear on live. Probably still not my cup of tea, but overall nice song and great act (extremely detailed, Bambie and their team did an incredible job)

Sadly i think that this is the wrong choice for Ireland. I think the staging will be good come May but i dont see a general audience liking this song enough to vote for it except for a select audience. I think this experimental route wont work in favour of Ireland. Such a shame as theyre 1/2 of my background 😭. Olly better have a great song 😭

Nah, I love the screaminess, it perfectly encapsulates the chaos of Eurovision and the weirdness and quirkiness.
