I am a senior orthopedic surgeon of more than 40 yrs experience. I want to clarify certain things to you and your viewers. Though you made a nice video but certain points to note are->. (1) it is not a very latest technology for India. I have used it for past more than 15 years. (2) this type of boot can not be used for all situations. (3) Walking is possible with that synthetic fibre-cast also. Some patients do not like cast hence they prefer removable boot which is costlier but at the same time has its limited indications and compliance issues. Only advantage is that you can remove it for taking bath (4) Casting still remains the standard treatment modality for most patients. Even though you can not remove it as per your will. But there are materials to be used inside cast which allows bathing even with the cast on. Also casting ensures immobilization which is not there in case of poor compliance patients (all patients are not same) (5) The swelling and bluish discoloration seen on top of your forefoot is result of fracture and dependent position while travelling. This would have occurred even with the boot if applied to begin with. The swelling and discoloration goes off with time anyway. Wish you all the best and early recovery.

Don't mislead the viewers with titles and phrases saying, celebs and hifi people's uses this - they have used it for very mild fractures, the so called hairline fracture, and not for proper fractures, plenty of them had a normal plaster of Paris or surgery and some of them even died due to the nature of fracture during road accidents, don't mislead anyone with blunt info's. Everything is not for views, just have some common sense and explain it clearly, this comments not intended to make someone agitate it's for making you to think, rethink and make a post!
Ma'am I got fractured 4 years ago I wish this technology was there before or we were not aware of it . The time when I got fracture whole my mother made me walk .
Aaj ki nahi hai India me. Me pichle 20 saalo se khud dekh Raha hu 13 saal se brace hai after multiple fracture and disability. Infact they are made here in India and can get at reasonable price. Every pvc cast comes with pros and cons. This has existed in India for over a century. It has just changed with modernity to only different designs nothing new. These vaccum balls are to fit your foot size for comfort and shape as it caters large audience instantly for readymade casts however getting them custom made as per traditional method is the best for suitability.

Old school cast and non weight bearing insure a positive outcome. Boot that can be removed at your comfort and walking on a fracture not so much.
