@@BookLaunchers Great! I'll watch it! The Publisher that I used didn't give me any advice. They are good people, I just didn't have a lot of sales. "SO FAR" I'm unemployed, it could be a good time to pursue more places to sell. It's on Amazon :)
If you're self-publishing you have the choice as to who you hire. That said, if you work with a company like Book Launchers, we only produce books as good or better than a traditionally published book so we require every book go through two rounds of copy editing unless it's a really polished manuscript.
At this time we only work on non-fiction adult books. This video explains why, and includes some resources for our fiction author friends. ruclips.net/video/Qt14t0xIR80/видео.html For Children’s Books, this video provides support and an introduction to someone who can help: ruclips.net/video/AOdJvz1ntIk/видео.html Hope that helps!!

Thank you 👍🏼
Good advice. I just went through this process. Used Editor.ca and things worked out somewhat.
Somewhat? I've never heard of that site but I hope the process worked out more than somewhat!
Hello, after paying the editor then you have to pay for the SELF-publishing, that's very costly. How do you make that back and a profit?
Sell a lot of books! :-)
I put this video out and it might help: ruclips.net/video/zC7O3eSh2aU/видео.html

So, when you’re working with a publisher, to self publish it sounds like you don’t need to use one of their copy editors?

Have you considered helping authors who publish fiction?
