This new XL F looks fantastic. Love the colors. Would be nice if the brushless version had the option for the brushed body. Also that battery is massive. It ought to get at least a half hour drive time. Can't wait for the drive review.
Hey Ryan yes it looks pretty well put together and the lipo should give a decent run time that's for sure! Will see how it goes on a bash test Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching mate , yes I didn’t know about the brushed version until I saw it on the box, I presume that it would have a 550 brushed motor as all XLF brushed 1/14 scale buggies do
Great review as allways bro and love the editing at the intro 💪🏾😍.... Love these trucks really one of the best for 2021 no doubt about it looking forward to your running video Bro 😉 👍🏽 Also wondered about the B version and the canopy also have an slightly different shape very interesting 🥸 Have a nice week and stay safe bro ✌️🏽 😎 🏄🏽
Great review.I like metal parts. I ll buy one.Could u tell me that this truck has reverse function or not and also how l can upgrade shock absorber? Thanks.
Yes of course this RC truck has reverse, thanks for watching and checkout my bmx bash test review. Use the link in the description to purchase this truck along with the coupon code BG8RCCar to save some $$$ thanks for watching👍
Nice overview bro. Seems like a decent truck hey. I have one on the way. This truck needs a good micko rc bash/stress test 😄☺ Hopefully spare plastic parts become available soon. Stay safe brother! 😎🍻🇦🇺
Hey brother, good to hear from ya 👍 hope all is well and safe over there, that's good you are getting one, i am planning to head out to the track sometime today and see how it does bashing around on the jumps out there 💯👍🍻 thanks for watching Micko
I ordered this truck. I would like to know if a 3s 5200 mah battery would fit? I want to order one the battery is Zeee, size is 5.43 in long by 1.85 in wide by 1.46 in tall . Will it fit the battery tray? It will help a lot if you could answer when you can.
Great video! you have sold me - which 3S battery do you reccomend with this, will the charger you have linked below suit as well Thought i might as well do a full package via banggood
Hello thanks for watching I recommend the hobby grade charger below for better balance charging of lipos as well as speed of charging as well, the trickle USB charger provided would take a very long time to charge the high capacity 5000mah 2s that comes with it. As for 3s, there are so many variants and sizes, discharge ratings as well. Recently I'd recommend ovonic and also awanfi branded lipos, both work great and I have recently made videos on both those brands.
Hey! I'll look forward to the running video of this! I've seen a few others already and no one mentions the fact that this looks like an X maxx too? I think it does 🤷🏻♂️ that usb charger is absolutely pointless 🤣 if you are new to the hobby thats not a good way for people to get into it, more like pissed off waiting 10 hours for ye lipo to charge! Them usb things are only any good for up to 1500mah. Great video mate! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Cheers for watching mate 👍 I plan to take it out for a bash test tomorrow and yep looks like an xmaxx copy design for sure. And yep the USB charger would take forever on this 5000mah lipo so I linked a couple hobby grade ones that I use below 🍻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC So one thing thats put me off this car is apparently there's some lag between the radio and the car 🤔 hopefully you'll notice this or mention that it's ok in the running video. Thanks man 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
The remote on this is the same as on the. New XLF f18 buggy I have and there was no noticeable lag on that one at all, in fact it was very responsive and I even mentioned that in my review of that buggy. So will see how this one is I guess, but yeah first I heard about lag on these tx remotes
I have an early version of this. The differentials and CVDs are junk. It lasted 30 minutes before it broke. Parts were not available at all. Even the shocks were mismatched and different lengths. I hope these hold up better for people but after a few XLF products failing non stop for me I'm done.
I have been very unlucky with that truck. I got it for christmas and used it once in the snow. 5 or 8 minutes later, a part was cracked. I glued it back, took the truck out and lost a wheel. I had a real hard time finding parts and they might reach me next month. Up to me, this is just a piece of garbage that is overpriced.
That sucks that you had bad luck with the F22A, I guess very cold temps can cause plastic parts to become very brittle and crack, living in Australia where it’s very warm I don’t encounter those issues. Also losing a wheel nut, that happens to the best of us, I forgot to tighten the Flyhal FC610 wheels out of the box when I reviewed it recently and a wheel came off when testing it out in my yard. If you watch my XLF F22A bmx track bash test video you will see it could take a fair bit of punishment, and nothing broke. I do agree the price could be a bit lower. Thanks for watching Pascal 👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks, but I've noticed that the wheels are holding with a little pin, so when my wheel came off, that little metal piece fell off and the pin just slid out. I didn't remember that book, thanks for the review, really informative. At the moment, I bought a Arrma Kraton 6s and that is an impressive thing.

Yeah it's a great truck for the price mate, stay tuned for the bash test at the track 😎👍🍻🇦🇺

No problem, feel free to check out my bmx track test run bash video, its definitely an impressive truck for the price point 👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC out of the 3s batteries which would you reccomend for it to buy straight up for it ?
Ovonic Air 50c 3000mah 3s, tested it out an hour ago doing some speed tests, stay tuned for that video soon
Does anyone know the specs of the pinion gear?
Hello. Most important, what about parts.
Its a very new truck, just like any new release the parts will most likely be available soon
