Maintenance is key as with any machine. Valve check intervals on these are at about 26,000 miles. Usually the valves are not out of spec at 26k but that is when the manual states to have them checked. If you’re worried about it leaving you stranded the stator & rectifier like to burn out around 30k. Realistically, if the bike runs good, has no funny knocks or squeals. It’s probably a solid bike. I know people with 100,000 miles are their R6 and they haven’t had to refresh internals. Just consistently change and check your oil and she will run forever.
