Ironically Metteton has the most selfless reason to fight you out of all the pacifist boss monsters Toriel: she wants to keep you in the ruins because she's scared of what might happen to you on your journey, but isn't willing to go with you because of reasons Papyrus: he wants to become a member of the royal guard Undyne: she is trying to get your soul in order to kill all the humans Mettaton: he tries to take your soul to make sure it doesn't fall into the hands/paws/fins (idk what to call it) of Undyne or Asgore, therefore saving all of humanity in the process Asgore: he wants his people to have hope so he goes along with Undyne's plans Asriel: he wants to destroy this timeline in order to see Chara again.

easy way to win this fight is to bring a lot of clothes with you, keep changing cloths in the battle you get 1500 points for each item but only works once per item, writing legs gives the most points and use the steak first if low on health as it gives most points of the food items
