      yes, we have the programmable tailstock.

      Most machine move the tailstock with turret and its programmable.

    1st step F-up! when you turned spots for steady rest and centerdrilled 1st end, why did you not turn a spot on the end true to the center and face to cleanup before center drill? center drilling the 1st end, then swapping around to chuck on the rough does not make that center run true in the jaws. maybe that part isn't that particular about run out, but that is bad machining technique if the part demands perfect concentricity

      the video is not 100% complete. however we have a conncentricity of 0.05 mm thanks

      @@MrBraga75 that conncentricity is 100% dependent upon the roundness of the raw stock. and you know full and well that does not happen every time. i stand by my statement, bad machining practice if conncentricity is required to a high degree of precision, and the error is magnified as the length of the work piece is increased.

    Yes me being a machinist, they don't think of what happens in real life in this situation. Chips get in steady rest roller an things go to hell

      he should´ve turned the shaft first and get it welded to the bigger diameter flange or what is it.... when he should´ve took it to the lathe and finish it

      @@piter_sk I wouldn't add welds or any other things that could change part integrity or behaviour without consulting the drafter/engineer first. Technically, they should have thought of welding or bolding the part and only draw it as one continuous part if nothing else is possible.
