Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. I liked the movie, I thought it was good. With the mother saying she lived in a foster home, that brought hurt to me because I too lived in a few of them. It was nice that close to the end, they actually prayed & ended it in Jesus name. So many times people pray or bless someone, forget to pray in Jesus name. Thank you for sharing.

Sweet movie. I liked the portrayal of the emotional instability and child-like behavior of Carrie. It's true and very real to life of childhood trauma and growing up in foster care. She might not have had the best role models for appropriate adult relationships and conflict resolution. The church family was great! I loved Uncle Earl and the adorable daughter.

I really enjoyed this christian family movie! I appreciated that they didnt make the 2 scenes if Rodney's abuse & evil ling & drawn out like other movies!! We are living wuth so much evil already in this world right before the rapture & so many if us are going thru the worst circumstances in oyr luces right now & just need a good old fashioned christian movie to relax to! I’m not a negative person. My kids don’t want to go to the church because the kids from church was bad to them, now they are big,good kids but they don’t want to hear about church , I understand that God is God, and church is church. Movie was good, blessings to all of us, God love you

I can't understand the comments on this movie. You're all blaming the church....Carrie is pathetic blaming everyone...her Mum, boyfriend, town,church. Blames the one who got her a job for losing it....She needed to take responsibility for her choices.

Healing is still available today. There was a girl in a wheel chair, young man with PTSD and Uncle with chronic back pain. Not once did anyone pray or command healing. By whose stripes, you were healed (1 Peter 2:24b).

Nice movie. Sometime we all need to take a break. Stop, be still and know God is in control. we do need to make conscience, smart choices. Keep trying and know God wants the best for us. He has good plans for us but sometimes we get in the way.

Ah, very cool! It's about a workaholic waitress named Carrie who moonlights as a singer-songwriter in Nashville pursuing her dreams. But after an abusive episode with her boyfriend, she and her daughter relocate to Nolensville, TN to restart their lives. They are taken in by her Uncle and his quirky church friends. Things begin to turn around for her, but once her boyfriend finds out where they live, you know there's going to be a showdown. / Hopefully that helps. We absolutely loved filming in Nolensville. So much kindness and hospitality!

Being as civil, I could be, it’s not Jesus Christ that keeping you alive, but his Almighty father our creator Jehovah GOD
Poor young women who are left to fend for themselves, end up in trouble, and are taught that men are cruel & untrustworthy, when men are actually more reliable than independent women who think they have to prove something. . . . Don't cheat yourself thinking sex means love or a relationship. Be chaste and go to Church, but not any church--the Orthodox Church where there is spiritual healing and Life. We all need spiritual healing.

I also liked the movie, too. Just one point I didn't understand: why the hospital didn't call CPS for the assault on Emma and have a restraining order against Rodney. Apparently jail wasn't enough for him.
As to Carrie being in a foster home, I was in five--the last one adopted me.
It took me 21 years to find my biological mother and five to find my biological father (not married to each other ever). Neither of them were parents.

As for the CPS question, the film doesn't indicate that Carrie told the hospital staff all the details of exactly what happened. Regardless, the filmmakers chose not to introduce a government-agency or law-enforcement element to the story.

Loved the movie; it was my life at 1x except for a paralyzed child. I'd like to have seen the credits, but a bit too small to read. I know
quite a few people w PTSD of whom none can get much help through secular therapy; nor military. It can sometimes happen if just the right counselor is found, but we should pray for our servicemen & women who protect our country. We will need them when we find out we have a Trojan Horse!
Would you please expound on "The Trojan Horse" we have? I agree with you that we should personally thank and shake the hands of all military personnel we encounter in our daily lives.

The 2 little girls in church, how rude. Reminds me of some young girls in my church. No Christian is perfect, yet I wished more love would be shown. The comment about the jeans..reminds me of what Jesus said to the Pharisees... God looks in the heart not outside the heart as the Pharisees did. As long as someone comes to church clean and modest it doesn't matter. In real life there is paper work one can fill out for the state to pay if one has no insurance or doesn't make enough a month
