How to Lock a File and Folder with Password on Computer: Stop users from being modifying, moving, copying, renaming and deleting your files, docs and text on your laptop. Our important documents and folders should be protected from such actions mentioned above which accidentally being made by other users.

great but i think (again only think) there is one logical issue - when setting full restriction on this folder system prevents any operation with this folder even to administrator using common login. if it is the case the only solution is logging in the system as administrator with elevated rights and reverting this settings. a little bit difficult way to secure particular folder or file

This is easily circumvented and provides no protection from hackers or ransomware.

Is there a way to move a deletion protected folder into the recycle bin for storage in that location? I would like to place such into the recycle bin so that I can then in turn cut and paste anything in the recycle bin that I want to further delete, into that secondary folder, within the recycle bin; thereby avoiding otherwise over cramping the recycle bin window itself, over time with, thousands of items - while not having to permanently delete those same items from the recycle bin, itself . . . i.e., by storing them within the deletion protected folder, that'd be placed in the recycle bin - in case I ever need to refer back to any of them again . . . thereby bypassing any potential need to otherwise have to use other recovery methods or recovery software - which generally doesn't do very well at recovery of items, once completely deleted and overwritten. Thanks for any help you may be able to avail in this regard.

I am unable to copy a file from external source like HDD or Mobile
And i am also not able to delete a folder from drive
Both tasks asks me for permission from adminstration

If wants to disable cut,copy and delete etc.options only,so do same thing like this video and in the last step deny all and untick only "List folder/read data" than u can open it n ur options will also disable

No, you will not be able to copy it to another place, instead you can make a copy and make new permissions
