This looks like a much more interesting and challenging TLB than the original. Really feels like a CAVE TLB. Also Jaimers calling it insanely hard and proceeding to no miss the fight in one day.
Oh my, the patterns look so aesthetically pleasing, I don't know why, but to me, it feels like they found the perfect balance between difficulty and "style".
"people considered it too easy" tell that to 16 year old me who took a long ads while to 1CC this game DUE to that last boss (I always used the guy and not the girl though). As always, nice video man. It's weird to be so early in a Jaimers video that all you see are other OGs from top leaderboards like kiwi.
OK don't expect me to beat this game, true final boss and all, after I get it now. While not as insane as most of the other true final bosses in CAVE's games (i'm watching you Inbachi), still looks real hard. Worthy to be a true final boss.
Agreed. At least we don't have to deal with the screeching death screams... Lol Gotta get this game soon! Compared to Mushihimesama's ending (I have the JP Xbox 360 version and steam version) it was tragic (sort of but it is to me, warning ending music hurts the heart a lot) due to Aki's death from the toxic poisons, and what I realised, throughout the game, since Reco's first meeting with him (and in the past when she was very young), she began to fall in love more and more with him (see the results screen evidence in stage 2 to 5.). Reco's more beautiful with her hair down without it being tied up. At least the ending in the Mushihimesama series didn't end up tragic in the second game (Futari).
@@AnimeHokageHD Still didn't hold a candle to G-Darius, which I think was peak tragic as far as shmup endings are concerned. Imagine beating the game and being utterly devastated by the cinematic!
@@moozooh Frankly, if you want tragic and depressing shmup endings, I don't think Radiant Silvergun can be outdone; the entire cast, and all humanity, doomed to fight, fail, be destroyed, and repeat, forever (or at least until Ikaruga broke the cycle).
Seems like they did a pretty good job with this new boss. The patterns are really unique and it looks challenging enough to be called a Cave TLB.
Jesus, that last pattern look hellish. Props for No-Missing this one.

Damn... a new TLB added to a game that is... like 22 years old...

There went my 1cc X-D
Damn, nice skills - Cave rules.
Who wants to bet Cave themselves were directly involved in this overhaul?
How does this boss compare to Evaccanneer DOOM from Ketsui?
Alice:I defeated myself.
LMFAO
how do you play for the online leaderboard in this game? i don’t see my score in the leaderboard... which mode do i have to play?
Just play a run from the beginning on default game settings and without using savestates.

This Game is very Awesome
Nice song
i can never tell how hard a boss is by just looking at it. so iwas suprised when i read this one is around cave tlb difficulty
ESP is supposed to be the beginner-friendly STG for CAVE.
Alice vs. Alice.
I need logic here.
A throwback to Espgaluda 2 BL's Seseri vs. Seseri (which had its own musical theme, btw!).
So... the real, redeemed Seseri vs. a robotic clone?
Why is there so many slowdowns?
Be happy ending of alice
Wow the new TLB is really coo
They are making new content to a remastered 25 years old shmup
*Sasuga M2*
So she doesn't die tragically in this ending? That's nice

moozooh
Notably, the whole Darius series has alternate endings from destructions of the enemy to finding out it was all just a dream... Lol

@@triplehate6759 Actually I didn't find that depressing. The way it was presented was kind of cool.
