I’m still in the back of the police car. 3 years almost now. Really good film. Spot on with sounds and glitches. I stopped this interview and watched the movie. Thanks guys. 🙏🏼💙🏴
Def need more films like this. Reminds me of Geek Girl where by the writer is a late diagnosed Autistic and wrote it prior to being diagnosed. Within the first 10 mins of the show I was like this chick isn't a Geek, she's Autistic. Then after Googling it found out that she was indeed as was the writer. However it's not mentioned throughout Geek Girl - I wish it were so that more people could understand Autism. I'll be watching this film again after this interview. Would love to see this as a feature film or series of sorts.
The shit I've been through I often think is a direct result of my Autism. Because I don't hear of any of these things happening to other "common" people. But at the same time, I can't possibly imagine how exactly it's because of my Autism. Is that we make good victims because we're passive? Maybe. I got pushed into a wall by a bully. I got suspended from school because I damaged the wall. I got whacked in the face with a hockey stick in front of the teacher. I got suspended again because I hit him back. I got randomly kidnapped and tortured because someone thought I kicked a ball into some bushes. I didn't. I've been strangled in the middle of class in front of everyone. Nobody gave a fuck. I got suspended again because I dropped an empty plastic bottle in the corridor. I got sent to prison for 9 months for something I didn't do. I was advised not to appeal or it would be 3 years. Is this shit normal? I don't have a fucking clue what normal is? Does anyone?
God damn it filmmaking is my special interest hahaha. I wanna work in the industry so bad but I just don’t know how (or if I have the energy/patience to do it) 🤷♂️
Hi Paul, I've been looking over your videos and looking for something on Routines and plans. I become rigid and I can't handle it when someone wants me to change them.
That film was excellent. Truly excellent.

Different stories, same outcomes though. Persecuted for being an easy target to someone's bad intentions. A lot of Autistic people can relate.

Hopefully I'll cover that in the near future 👍🏻
