To ask him for a "friend, family discount" in asking him not to be honest is a slap in the face to his brand, and I hope none of his friends would ever do that. A true friend would never ask a friend to cheapen his business. On the flip you make chains. Very good chains. Chains that I want to buy but I never would have heard about without those brutally honest reviews. To me, the Customer, your "metal has been tested." Pun intended, and I like your chains good enough that I'm going to eventually end up buying 2. A silver and a gold. That Gus is your business, and it seems the two of you have worked together between your respective businesses to make a customer out of me. A guy who lives in the country, in rural Texas.
