In the year of the Spitfire's 75th anniversary, this video has been launched of a Polish pilot, charting his experiences in the air and respect for the aircraft.
Józef Witkowski, of No. 308 City of Kraków Polish Fighter Squadron, spoke to cameras about his wartime experiences last year.
