- #1 UMass Boston avenged three-consecutive playoff losses against rival #2 Babson College with a 3-2 comeback overtime win in the New England Hockey Conference Tournament Championship Game. Sophomore Colin Larkin scored the game-winning goal 12:51 into overtime to lift the Beacons' to their first-ever NCAA Tournament-bid and to earn Tournament MOP honors.
