- On this episode we're back with Stuart Leiby and his 2007 Honda S2000, last time we saw this car it was at TX2K19 competing in the roll race nationals. Since then it has gone through quite the transformation with the goal of racing the car competitively down the 1/4 mile. It was a great weekend filled with highs and lows but in the end stuart went home with a new personal best and an amazing experience with his team. Enjoy!

The drivetrain is very crazy. Quaife G60 sequential ($13k) carbon shaft and rear end with DSS axles is no joke! Simple, but not cheap! Also dialing in the shaft angle is very difficult if you don’t know what your doing.

It's crazy how those Honda engine easily gain HP with turbo and sound on dyno as like it's not too dramatic, just simply unbelievable until you look at the graph see its over 1000+wheel. My VQ35DE bored to 3.7l single snail adjusted to only about 15psi made 600+ sounds scary dramatic as make you praise and hope engine won't explode.

Nothing wrong with a Cobalt SS. Nobody in the Cobalt community takes advantage of GM Multi-Million dollar investment in engine development. The book tells you how to build a 1200hp Methanol burning Ecotec 4 cylinder engine with circa 2002 turbocharger technology. The fastest import I guess that Cobalt RWD car is using this engine to make 1,600 hp. Jason Hunt was doing low 9's in the early 2000's with a car that is streetable. Real Auto Enthusiast don't make fun of other people's cars, that's bullying and immature.
I was thinking of building a sr20 for my nissan 720 but a cobalt ss engine might be a better option now
@@redlight3932 Build a SR20DET if you want. It's a good engine. The stock engine is good to over 400whp. Beyond that you'll need to upgrade internals.
