Man am in the same boat, missed the earlier Mafex Wolverines. Just got into toy collecting recently and have wanted a good wolverine figure since I was a kid. Got this last night in my first massive Mafex order and couldn't be happier, feel so good in hand. Helps that I managed to snag a Mafex Gambit, SS Harley Quinn, and a S.H. Figuarts Deadpool2 in the same order!
Also I actually like this costume now, the silver details are really nice and red eyes are actually nice with the grey and black. Luckily my paint job was really good too.

The new ML '97 Wolverine is also great if you are looking for that yellow tiger stripe look. I recently got that one and I love it. I have Mafex Gambit and SHF Deadpool 2 as well and can't say enough about hov amazing those figures are. Love it! Thank you for watching.

If I was to get this figure I would just custom him to the house of X wolvie, it’s literally the same body and sculpt 😂

Honestly I was in the same boat. I know the blue and yellow had a re-release but after doing some research, it’s apparently the worst one out of the bunch. Wrong colors, awful QC issues, it falls apart easily, claws are too long, and not as good range of motion as the x force one. I’m gonna have to see if I can get a copy of the x force because your review sold me haha

Thanks! I hope you'll get this version because it's a great figure. But for the blur and yellow re-release, I know about it and nin-nin store says all the time that they will have it available soon. I even registered there so that they notify me when pre-orders go up but when they do send me e-mail that it's available and I click on their link, the figure is never available. So I'm not sure what's going on. Is it possible that it sells in two seconds every time? I really don't know. I know about the qc and everything that you said but I would still love to have that figure. Unfortunatly it looks like it's not ment to be. 😅
