- Hello friends! In this video I will tell you how is it to do long rides on a single speed scooter? Can you do long rides on scooter? What are the tips for scooter touring?
Personally, I am not fond of long distance travel on a scooter but I have completed many such trips with my hero destini 125 scooty. The latest being Nainital to Shimla 1200 km ride.
As a scooty is not built for long distance drive, so it can be problematic for the engine or tiring for your body to go for long rides. But on the other hand we see many riders who successfully complete their all India tour on scooter. So to try that I also went for that scooty ride.
In this video, I have shared many such tips which I think will be helpful for anybody who wants to go for such long distance rides on scooter. One of them being taking breaks every 70-80 kms with riding speed less than 80 km/h which I forgot to mention in the video.
I have also shared my point of view and my riding experience of the 1200 km trip. The problems I faced and what you can do for overcoming it.

Imp things I Forgot to mention:
* Never cross 80kmph while touring on a scooter
* Don't have heavy food before and during ride as it can make you drowsy...eat light
*If you don't have riding jacket, prefer wearing full sleeves windcheater or denim/leather jacket.

I have ridden max 428 kms in a day on LML Vespa in June 1995. That was maximum on scooter!
On Yezdi 250, I have ridden 695 km a day in Nov 1991.
I restarted long touring in 2018 after a gap of 22 years on Himalayan 411. Then sold it in 2022.
I am waiting for new Himalayan 452 or Triumph Scram 400x for long touring @55 age😊.
I am passionate for long touring, will do as long as I can continue!

I travel daily round trip 100 km (50km+50km) on Honda unicorn 150, 70% highway + 30% PMGSY road.
Can This be replaced by any scooter.

Mera plan 1200km(approx) travel ka h with a pillion(my friend) from dehradun to lucknow (both ways) in two days koi problem toh nhi aegi?
Scooty ki care ktengey and tips follow krenge to nhi aegi
But make sure ki scooty is in good condition

Riding main kya problem aa sakte hai
Mujhe mumbai to Ahmedabad jaa kar aana hai
Kitni chali hai usse prob nahi...but Jane se kch din pehle service karar to behtar hai...baki sath m puncture kit, Medical kit, basic toolkit hona chahiye...and petrol pump raste m jagah jagah nhi to sath m ek bottle, 2 ya 5 litre

Siliguri to Guwahati 450km
Guwahati to kumarghat Tripura 450km
My age is 45 and little bit back pain in winter. If this trip will be successful then Kolkata to kanyakumari towards Rajasthan -
3rd phase tour leh Ladakh peongek lake to Kashmir manali dalhausi Amritsar agra to kanpur NH then back to Kolkata. Bharat bharman complete.

Main Dehradun mein raheta hu.. Dehradun se kolkata jana chahta hu activa 6g se.. Kitne km travel krte sakta hu per day taki engine kharab na ho jaaye?
Stop le le kr travel kijiye...har 70 km ke baad hoga tarah video M btaya h.. Make sure scooty ki condition achchi ho.. Or jyada garam na ho.. Baki koi problem nhi hogi

Main active 6g 110 cc se 1600 km travel krna chahta hu plain area mein.. 4-5 Night stay krke..koi problem aa sakti h kya?
Nahi proper planning or tips follow krne toh .. Koi problem nhi aegi
