Gambia is one of the hidden gems , cannot expect Government to do everything, people should work together to bring Gambia to world attention. Tourists will come in thousands from Europe during winter time there, rest will follow.
Just a bit clarification , the discussion was mainly about the location and not about standards. I was told by locals that one of the main attractions was the Monkey park, but a conference centre was built using a part of land where the park is. I was giving my opinion, it would have been better if the Conference Centre was built using the land adjacent to the Monkey Park and not using the land where the monkeys are. Now the Monkey Park is shrunk. I was outside the Conference Centre gate and it is of very good standard and looks impressive.
