This happened to me like 7 years ago, my piano teacher never played a note in front of me and kept saying I was doing it wrong, so I learnt moonlight sonata and said I finally was better than her, so she shut me up playing what I now know is the minute waltz. no but jokes aside, this once happened to me in high school we were taught how to code (python) and for the final assignment we had to copy something boring off of a course and give it our own twist, i completely forgot to do this until like 4 days before the deadline and really didnt want to make the assignment, so i just made my own (sorta) virus in python and when i showed him my work (about like 800 lines of code (it was extremely unoptimized due to me constantly discovering new interesting libraries lol)) he was just speechless and told me that he didnt understand 50% of what i made so he just said "Well youve become better than me at my job, at this point you can actually teach the class" i got 100% on that assignment and im pretty sure ive never worked so much on a project in my life (except my minecraft projects and geometry dash completions but these obv dont count lol), am i proud of it? probably not i couldve done way better, and also since then never tried coding again, so yeah, thanks for reading all the way ig
