Hope I don't seem forward but how much are the accomodations that you guys stay at? Some of them are just to epic! One day I would love to come down from kzn and visit for a few days with my wife and kids and do some fishing💪
Hey, we have some family and friends where we dont really pay but on average its between R500 and R1000 per night, but we also get discount at some places
Good day. How much planning goes into your fishing weekends from tackle to selecting your hunting grounds. The conditions can be great the Wednesday but when Friday comes or Saturday then the weather has changed. Thanks for the videos, love it.
Keep checking Windguru, identify the right conditions from max a week ahead and plan. Just keep checking windguru everyday til then. It's generally accurate
Hey We start with the time of year as it will determine the species then we look at the weather conditions. The weather will determine the area we target for example in a 4m sea most areas wont work in winter but a place like Onrus has spots perfect for galjoen. The areas we got to know over the years so we know what will work best. If we could target Cracker and Kob everyday we would lol. But each angler have their own opinions we tend to listen and then test it for ourselves. In Western Cape SE is best for Kob in summer and we like a SW wind in winter for the reef species, but thats just us. What really helps is knowledge of enough areas so when the weather changes you have a backup plan. Hope it helps a bit
Thanks for the feedback. We a group of guys that planned a trip in September for jongensfontein near still bay. Every 6 months we go for a weekend away. So we committed for months. I found at times that I over pack on bait and tackle and spend I fortune on it.
Well done to another great video. Ill say it again and again best channel for fishing, if you want to see actaul fish being caught
