Your biggest complaint is the gas cap not hinging, I've always flipped it over and set it on my seat when filling the tank. Never gave it a thought that kids might be stealing it.

I’ve own one of these for 20 years, bought it brand new. Never, never had an issue of what to do with the filler cap when at the petrol station

i bought one of these in April 2000, new. good bike but the standard Thunderbird had more character. the adjustable suspension was nice but the seat was awful. i had it for 4 years . i actually know the person who owns it now and it's still running great 20 years on

That colour combination is stunning, thank goodness nowadays you’re not going to worry about matching coloured leathers for you’re bike as the presenter sneered lol, a sign of the times clearly.

Who would buy matching leathers to go with any bike paint scheme? That sounds like something a ponce would be concerned with.

Funny how triumph released retro bikes back then and now are going back and doing it again.

The only Triumph that I still crave for. Shame that EU regulations forbid me importing it.

Me: gets bike, sees classic aesthetic, ditches sissy bar, immediately orders a tail tidy kit and dumps the gigantic round mirrors.

Cool bike 🏍 but front wheel looks too small

A Tbird sport owner who has also raced explained to me that this wheel size seriously helps the handling , makes it turn faster than the standard bike, and gets plenty of rubber on the road. Every review I have read praises the handling manners of the sport

Put the fuel cap on the seat and stop looking for problems that don't exist!

Had a new one in 2000. Terrible vibrations at 3300 rpm. Not enough fork lock. Not the best ergonomics. Tons of horsepower.

Just terrible that colour that you couldn’t match your leathers. I mean that’s important.
You don’t get this bike . You’re the wrong bloke for this bike. Chromophobic.
