They're blasters misses becuse of the helmet, the helmet makes them kinda not see anything, and they shoot at the wrong way, sometimes.

Even factoring in shooting at the main characters, storm troopers have a higher shots fired to enemies killed ration then ANY soldier in the history of modern (gun powder, rifles ect) warfare. with the runners up being soldiers in the US Civil war at 200 shots fired to 1 enemy killed.
storm troopers have a 96 shots fired to 1 enemy killed ratio, making them INSANELY accurate.

@@diegob798 Well, for the main Stormtrooper Corp, from what I can recall, there is the orange one mentioned, a white(?) pauldron and a blue pauldron, which is LT(?). The medals on Imperial officers are rank indicators as well.

@@diegob798 In ANH there's orange (highest), white and plain/black (being for unranked/standard)
@@diegob798 originally they were randomly done to look military-ish. However, it was retconned in that the blue squares denote a navy background, the red ones army, and the orange ones engineering/logistics. The more squares, the higher the rank. I notice most high ranking officers have a mix of usually red and blue. And the little pen like things the officers carry contain their codes, and encrypted information.

There trained to hit unless there plot armor then there full on miss mode activates
2 solutions:
A. Tell em to shoot warning shots, the crew on on the SpaceBall ended up with 100% accuracy after that
B. Issue the MA5B Assault Rifle and the M6D magnum, 60 (HALO CE) bullets to 600 (Halo CE cursed edition), and sniper rounds fitted into a pistol strong enough to 3 shot Elites on headshots, 1 shot to rebel scums

Stormtroopers are apparently highly trained soldiers with god levels of accuracy. But not even they are a match for plot armor.

@@ararepotato1420 Except they didn't show the pattern of scorch marks. Only storm troopers were that accurate was referring to the target holding perfectly still so the wall has an untouched silhouette of them while the rest is covered in blaster marks.
