One of my favorite lanyards is to ty two snake knots by the lanyard hole then add a para cord ranger bead, and then finish it off with a Matthew walk or knot These lanyards you shared definitely gave me some inspiration to try some different ones👊
You're welcome! That is the Ultem Revolt bead by Griffin Company, however they are sold out at the moment unfortunately www.griffincompany.ca/product-page/ultem-revolt-beads
Any way you would do another video like this? Im struggling to find interesting designs for my EDC knives. I've got some new beads and end caps, and i can't decide what to do with them. I also have a Mario head and mushroom end cap that i want to do a red and blue lanyard with but can't decide what or how to do it
I've been wondering: how tightly do you cinch up your knots? Your finished projects always look, for lack of a better word, fluffier than mine even when I follow along and do the exact same thing with the exact same objects. Like, your lanyards have a bit of wag to them while mine come out stiff as a board.
As JMEIB said, it could most likely be the paracord you're using. I tighten my paracord quite decently. I wouldn't say I tighten it to the point where my knuckles are white, but the knots are by no means loose. What kind of paracord are you using? Nylon is softer and more pliable than polyester.
@@TheWeaversofEternity I buy my cord from the Bored Paracord store on Amazon. They advertise it as nylon but, now that you mention it, I do white knuckle it when I tighten my knots, so that might be the problem.
Not necessarily. At least with my understanding a lanyard can also be used for extending the grip of a tool, or have something you can pull on to get it out of your pocket, pouch, or leather slip.

Great gear and nice knots.
Nice video giving lots of ideas. Thanks Tim.
Could you put a bead in between two snake knots?
Of course! I would single snake knots tend to come undone so I'd suggest tying at least two snake knots after the bead
@@TheWeaversofEternity thanks I was going to say maybe a cobra knot is better

It could be the material that the paracord is made of, most likely his is nylon and yours is polyester

Lanyard knots
like them thanks...
Cool
What spyderco is that?
I thought the point of a lanyard was to make something to hang it with or attache to a keychain
Not necessarily. At least with my understanding a lanyard can also be used for extending the grip of a tool, or have something you can pull on to get it out of your pocket, pouch, or leather slip.
