In a BSN program I graduate in December of 2023 and I want to go to graduate school, but I am unsure of what exactly! Either way I have to have some Nursing experience before I can go back to school.

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Definitely a solid plan to get some experience. What specialty are you interested in??

I have a degree in communications I've been accepted into a community college ADN program and I'm waiting to hear on my start date. I've applied to two other schools for their BSN program which would start in the Fall 2022. Additionally one of those schools offers a 20 month MEPN program that begins Spring 2023 . The BSN and MEPN would conclude around the same time frame August 2024. What's your take?

Congratulations on being accepted into the ADN program! It sounds like you have great options. Your goals in nursing should dictate your next steps. If you know that without a doubt you want a BSN and/or MSN, definitely go that route. If you do choose an MEPN program, see if you are allowed to sit for the NCLEX and work before you graduate. There are programs and states where this is allowed. Working as a nurse first may help you with future employment and give you a general understanding of nursing practice. Good luck to you on your journey and welcome to the club! 😊😊😊

I'm about to graduate with a MA in French and I just got accepted into an ABSN program. After graduating the ABSN program I want to purse a DNP program. Is it possible right after graduating to go straight into a DNP program?
