@@wendylinton453 Yes, but that misses the point in my comment that "Easter" is incongruous to the Bible, as Yeshua was sacrificed on the Day of Passover in the Bible, which is next month at the end of April, but most Gentile Christians celebrate the Roman man-made "Easter" instead.
The Christians are celebrating a month early because they eschew the calendar set in place by God in the Bible and kept by Yeshua throughout His perfect life without changing it in any way.
Only on Passover were the sacrifial lambs killed, as the New Testament says, "Christ (Messiah) our Passover (not "Easter") was slain for us, therefore let us keep the Feast" (of Passover)!
The pre-Roman Christians of the Celtic Church in Britain and Ireland did this in Apostolic tradition until the Synod of Whitby in 664, after which the British Church turned Roman, which man-made feasts, festivals and 'holy days' even the so-called "Protestants" keep to this very day without question, such as "Easter", named after the spring goddess "Eostre/Eastre", and the Mass of Christ ("Christ-Mass"), "Lent", and so forth without any Biblical or Apostolic instruction.
Yeshua IS the Son of God as you most rightly point out, although He was never called "Jesus" in His lifetime, which is another man-made change, but my point was about Christians using the word "Easter" almost as if it came from God, when the opposite is true, & it rejects Passover. 🙃
Otherwise they would all be commemorating and celebrating next month on the Biblical date.

Also says don't be a mean person... Easter festivities is mainly for kids anyway. The true meaning is meant for adults and their meditations

    • @scented-leafpelargonium3366
      @scented-leafpelargonium3366 Месяц назад

@@cmgambit23 Where does it say "Don't be a mean person"? Who is being mean? It does say do not judge, which you seem to be doing by calling someone mean, which is quite mean in itself.
In all sincerity, if parents want their kids to enjoy Easter festivities that is their prerogative, but it has nothing to do with God or the Bible, as He ordained the Feast of Passover, which was a holy "Appointed Time" or "Moed" (in Hebrew), which falls next month on 22nd April, which is Passover Eve. If you're going to meditate on it, it would be logical to do it on the right day.
It is not a criticism, but meant to be a helpful observation to share with those who are sincere and open enough to consider it. If you can celebrate or meditate a month before it, why not do in June, or July or August if no one cares about the actual date that God chose for Yeshua, the Name God gave Him before it was changed into "Jesus" by the Gentiles, to suffer and die?
Passover will pass over another year, and the date of the Crucifixion ignored by those who profess to follow. There is nothing wrong with celebrations, but it is simply on the wrong date.
If a member of your family died, would you remember it a month early? Not usually. That is what the non-Jewish Christians are doing by following the calendar of the Roman Church & not God.

The Messiah was crucified on Nissan 14th, Passover, HE is our Passover Lamb. Not on a Friday. It's in your Bible. Read Exodus 12. It's in there. Passover meal (Last Supper) sundown, beginning Nissan 14th, entire next day... Passover.... buried on sundown, the beginning of Unleavened Bread, special Sabbath, next sundown was the weekly Sabbath, then Resurrected on Firstfruits, the first day of the week.
If Jesus were crucified on "Friday" that would make Him a liar.
"For as Jonah was three days and nights in the belly of the fish, so will the Son of Man be THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS in the heart of the earth"
    It's in your Bible.
Maybe we should stop following a religious custom, and experience the treasure of GOD'S WORD 😊

This!!! A friend of mine and I just realised this after a brainstorming session, and we realised it's Thursday, ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE (and not just based on mere number crunching)... Mark 15 paints the picture well... Notice in verse 42, Joseph comes to retrieve the body when it's already evening, on the day of preparation for the Sabbath (which starts Thursday evening and ends Friday, just as the Sabbath itself starts Friday evening and ends Saturday)... Matthew 27 also makes reference to how he had given up the ghost somewhere around afternoon (3pm, as AMP version indicates) before his body was requested for in the evening

    What do you think???
The Word testifies and interprets itself correct. Basic hermeneutics. Can man make a day Holy? No. I can’t figure out why men continually want to forsake the commandments of God and follow the traditions of men instead. God made Holy Days and the Word says they are His. Jesus said “Do this in remembrance of me”. Do what? Remember Pesach and the Lamb of God dying for our sin and 3 days and 3 nights later rising from the dead as First Fruits! Now that is a biblical worldview and not a roman rooted view.
The Bible does say to observe Pesach. Jesus did command us to wash each others feet.
The one day over another day verse brother was about fasting. It had nothing to do with feasts, appointed times or Shabbat. We don’t get to just make up Holy Days. God did that for us and then Jesus said to remember. Maybe because He knew we would forget the Sabbath (someone would change dates and times) and His Holy Days and our adversary would bring in a mixed form of worship to steer us away from Gods already established and appointed times.
Did Jesus fulfill the Spring Feasts? You bet He did. And He will perfectly fulfill the falls feasts soon as well!
    Thoughts 💭

Jesus was born to die, but not just a natural death as we all do. But instead, his death was as a lamb, and a symbolic “once and for all” sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
      Still time, choose wisely.

According to biblical text and the canonized text, it says that the first born of every Egyptian family was slain and killed, murdered on this day.
Funny how this video fails to meantion any of this, how convenient.
My question is why' do people of today call this day 'good' friday? Is it because we are simply just loosly repeating the words giving them no thought, attention or time.
If you're a human being and you are all about humanity, then that would be a 'bad' day, if you were really truely about humanity and about love, unconditiinal love. That would be a really sad bad bad day if you kill the first born of every single family that exists within an entire town, which they did according to the text.
So that starts off this celebrated by many today weekend, the friday night - it's slaughter night. So they killed the babies then after call it a 'good" day.
Talk about misinterpretation, flipping of words to convince the masses easter is about all good.
They took something that is dark, evil and sadistic, murderous and turned it into a 'good' day.
People want to learn the true meaning of easter, your ancient text tells you the true' meaning. Maybe the world, we all need to educate ourselves. Its not what its that book.
