Moonlight Pulse - Metroidvania Analysis

"Moonlight Pulse" is about 4 tiny Agents working to make the giant creature they live in healthy, and this requires them to fight off a bunch of parasites. Does this character-swapping Metroidvania have what it takes to be great, or is this just a game trying to ride on the coattails of the 2001 hit animated film, "Osmosis Jones"?

How dare anyone forget the genius of Osmosis Jones! It's an animation classic! And I'm not just saying that because I watched it all the time as a kid or anything. Nope, not at all. Incidentally, Osmosis Jones-style Metroidvania was not on my 2024 gaming bingo card, but I'll take it!

This reminds of a lot of Distorted Travesty. Like, it's obviously not thrown together with stolen assets, but the visuals are still kinda similar.
