Well the 3 I have are Philosykos, Tempo and Eau Capitale and I love all 3. I have to say now of the three my favorite is Eau Capitale. The next ones I get will be Volutes and one you recommend. Thanks Sam. Xo

I love Diptyque...they're so thoughtful, polished, and effortless. Volutes is my favorite, but I also really love Philosykos and Eau Capitale. I've been wanting a bottle of L'Ombre Dans L'eau for a long time. I need to get one already.

Diptyque applies traditional perfumery standards in a clever unique way. Not a lot of brands are both “niche” in style and classic like Diptyque is. My first and still main love is 34 Saint Germain. I wore it in the winter and remember it being strong enough to puff out of my coat in the snowy cold. It has so many components that it just satisfies it all. I don’t reach for it often as I have so many perfumes but this makes me want to. Also love Fleur de Peau and Do Son (I have the ceramic inserts for my bird pin) and lately coming around to love Kyoto. So many more good ones! The incense one - L’Eau Trois. Wish it was stronger.

Wow, I actually like how you review these fragrances..meaty yet concise makes one want to hear more :) I love eau rose edt cz it smells fresh and not old person rose fragrance. My next would be philosykos edp cz it packs a punch without being intrusive and it dries down like the edt on me. Third is a draw between tam Dao edt and eau duelle edt because they both start to smell incredibly nice 30mins after spray compared to the initial spritz..
What an amazing house (recently discovered) I've tried quite a few and my favorites so far : Eau de sens (unisex) , fleur de peau (unisex but more female oriented), Eau de liere (unisex) and Olene (for female I think and the most beautiful jazmín fragrance I've ever smelled) 🙂

Love the list. I actually found a dupe for La Capitale. I found it by mistake actually 😕 I recently order Garden Must from Mancera and let me tell you! It is spot on for La Capitale. But a bit stronger. I love it!

Diptyque is one of my top brands, and I adore the majority of their fragrances such as Philosykos, Lombre, Orpheon, Eau Rihla (this is a winner).
Eau Capital wowed me in the openning, but the dry down turned on my skin exactly as Estee Lauder (Knowing)..could not tell the difference between the two.
Fleur de Peau is my fav… I’m so obsessed with it. I also love Eau Rose EDP because it seems like it blooms. Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll have to try some of these .

Hi Sam, great list and great to hear also that you made friends with Tam Dao, I think I remember you didn't like it on your own skin first. It also took me a while, but now it's one of my favourite perfumes. I also love Tempo and Benjoin Bohème and the brand itself appeals quite much to me - very classy and no posers at all :)

Cant stand tuberose usually but the way its used in Do Son is so well done. Ive been using the edt for a while, finally got a decant of the edp and now i want a full bottle. so glad. same case with eau duelle, been a fan of the edt as my winter scent for a while, got around to smelling the edp..its so lovely! richer more full body vanilla. def looking forward to getting a fb soon. I can only take philsoykos in edt. the EDP is way too green and plant-y for me lol

Great selection! My favorite Dyptique is l’Ombre dans l’eau EDP. This perfume is just pure and green magic in a bottle. When I smelled it for the first time, I was in heaven. Totally me.
I also have a big big crush on Fleur de Peau. I love the beginning but, quite fast (two hours or so), the leather note tends to be proeminent on my skin.
And Ofresia. What a beautiful spring and summer scent ! Simple but chic and fresh.

I love Tam Dao edt, though the edp is very nice too. For winter, Tempo is beautiful and reminds me of the inside of a tea shop, and I'd say it awakens very pleasant memories from my childhood.

My favorites are Fleur de Peau and Vetteryrio! Bought the latter for hubby but he didn’t love it so I stole it and wear it with love ❤️ they are really pretty together as well

I love diptique sooo much. I just cant resist their style, so pure and realistic. My top 3s are for sure philosykos, do son and eau capitale. I find the latest in particular such a great budget option to portrait of a lady. Great video ✌🏻

I got L'Ombre Dans EDP for Christmas, and since then I've bought Kyoto, DoSon EDP, Volutes EDP, and I'm about to buy the Rosa Othoniel. Suffice to say, I have a problem lol

Love to see this video. I only have one Diptyque fragrance, Geranium Odorata. It's the EDT and I love the scent but the performance is not wonderful (they don't have an EDP of this one). I really want to try other ones though!

I've just ordered a travel size of L'Ombre dans L'Eau, because I was looking up fragrances with blackcurrant leaves, which is a nostalgic note for me, from picking blackcurrants as a child in my Grandmother's garden. The only thing that I have ever smelt that takes me back there is my body wash, called Nirvana by the brand Antipodes which has wild blackcurrant and spearmint leaf. I'm so excited to smell L'Ombre dans L'Eau!

Diptyque is a brand I have most fragrances from :) I own Fleur de Peau, Eau Duelle, Eau de Sens and 34 boulevard saint germain.
I have also just ordered Eau Rose EDP, what do you think about that one?
I own 2, Dos Son (edp) and philosykos (edt). Both were blind buys and I have no regrets ! My favorite and most complimented is Dos Son… if you can just get one, I highly recommend this one

my top 3: L'Eau Papier, Philosykos & L'Ombre Dans L"eau
I have Tam Dao and Duelle and enjoy them very much and have not once regretted purchasing them. I do wish the house did 10ml travel size in order to try others in the line.

Tam Dao is out of this world gorgeous. Definitely recommend trying that one out if you're looking for a warm, creamy unisex fragrance

One of the ultimate Fig scents surely has to be Lorenzo Pazzaglia's- Adam & Eve's Dress- odd name, incredible fragrance.

I have a sample of Tam Dao and it’s too masculine for me. As you said, it’s straight to woody and kinda little earthy.
Eau Moheli by diptyque is amazing. Banana notes mixed with green notes.

I think I’ve always found their scents to feel a little clunky and unfinished. I wore philosokos when it was released years backalong but went through it super quick because it had rubbish lasting power.maybe I’ll try the black bottle but it seems that the edts are so weak. Currently I own Eau de sens which is uplifting but nothing special- kind of like a Berocca. 34 I sold. Not sure why. Just was a lot of stuff and a bit nothingy. I have Eau duelle but it’s in my to sell basket. I still have a tiny bit of Eau de lierre from twenty odd years ago- another fleeting scent. I so want to like the house but my experience hasn’t been brilliant tbh. Sad face 😢

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on L'Ombre dans l'eau and how it compares to Eau Rose (if you've had a chance to try the latter)? Eau Rose is a truer rose - L'Ombre is more green leafy with blackcurrant. 🌹Xo Sam
