Russell was getting aggressive with his dad Leeske, but he put him in his place showing Russell he's just a pup.
I've been living by myself in the house I grew up in since August 2010 in south Florida. Since then a teenager stood at by front gate with two other friends and cocked and pointed a bb rifle or 22 rifle at me. Years later someone came in my yard at night early morning and broke into my brothers trailer and two of my sheds and tried to get into another shed, but couldn't. Just last early Sunday or Monday morning while still dark cut my catalytic converter off my 2005 Honda Element that was parked outside my gate. This camera you told us about is perfect because I don't have internet or wifi. I just hope my cell phone carrier us compatible. ❤ You all and enjoy your lives on the farm.

Russell is getting big like his Momma. Mojo looked sleepy this morning. Thank you for sharing the easy installation of the security cameras. We stopped using blink because it was constantly dying from the batteries. Now we will use this new camera at the front and rear of the house.
These cameras last a long time and recharge fast.

Was also in a truck camper when a tornado was less than a mile from us. We were safe just watched the wind bend trees over didn’t realize that they could bend that much. And other campers around us swaying and moving up and down. Wild ride

Russell actually walked away with you and a chicken went to finish eating his food. Russell turned around to look and he saw the chicken and he didn’t attack so he’s getting better with birds.
I was watching Grandpa Doss Farm's video earlier and he said if you drill drain holes in the dogs food bowls, it will keep the water out.
Kind of missing seeing the mini donkeys like we used to. Russell eats as many eggs as he can steal, be giving or take. He must stop taking from his mom and dad. He knows you love him and will spoil him rotten, but spend more time spoiling the others especially Leeske. I see he needs your attention and love most of all and of course tell them you love them. Surprise Leeske with a walk with his collar connected. It will do him good and once in a while Kora as well. I would love to see Kora’s reaction if she thinks she’s leaving her goats. Hi everyone on HHF. The farm and animals are looking fabulous . I’ve been watching what has been going on with Russell and I think it’s a great idea that you are going to get him fixed and at the rate he’s growing it would be better sooner than later. I spent a lot of time on properties with working dogs and I’ve been seeing some traits in Russell that can be a potential problem later down the track. Remember these are from my experiences I know you like feeding eggs to the dogs which until now has not been an issue but Russell is stealing eggs from the other dogs and helping himself to the eggs in the shop, yes it is cute thinking it’s fun but once he realises where they come from and he is watching over the chooks etc he could start helping himself and may even become aggressive towards the chooks because he wants to satisfy the taste. It’s like having a drug addict on the farm, he’s always wanting more. Again I’m not criticising but speaking from teachings and experiences I’ve had. We were always told that once a working dog gets the taste of eggs and they know where to get them ,1 is never enough it’s like having a giant 4 legged Alfred on steroids. Another thing is Russell is becoming very demanding of your attention and Mr Leesky is becoming very intolerant of him and even though they are father and son and very soon that won’t count and some damage could be done and if you have to remove Russell from his parents he hasn’t got many options of a happy coexistence because he isn’t accepted by Mr Mojo fully. I hope and pray things settle for all so that peace and harmony reins supreme and all can coexist without drama. Love seeing your farm and family as everyone grows and the farm expands. I know from raising many dogs that eventually Russell will have to be moved away from his dad but in the meantime he is enjoying his best life, thanks to you and your family.

Kevin you are right about coyotes tricking guard dogs or any dogs to come into a trap. When living in Nevada the newspaper printed a story of a man taking his two Rottweilers for a walk in one of the park areas. A solitary coyote started barking at them from the tree line and the two Rottweilers were unleashed took off and as they got into the trees the pack of coyotes attacked the two dogs. Their owner could do nothing. So keeping security is a must!
A sad reality. I’m sure that poor guy has nightmares and relives that day often. 🙏🏻

I just love Mojo. He is a great Chief Security Officer. Leeskee and Cora are great, too. Russell will be once he is trained. That security camera is so clear, day or night. An extra layer of protection is always good. I get so nervous when you go looking for eggs because Alfred could be hiding somewhere. I just get startled easy. Love to you all. ❤

People don't realize how smart and cunning coyotes are. You talked about them leading the dogs off to leave the herd unprotected. They will also have one coyote lead your dog out then the entire pack will pounce on the dog and kill it. Do not underestimate them.
a few years ago a soldier where I work took his dogs to the ball field to let them run and when he whistled them in there was a coyote with them, he ran it off and then the General sent out a message to not let dogs off leash anymore

From experience raising father and son can be difficult...I always kept girls and eventually neutered dad...male was always kept separated from females unless breeding mom and dad...❤keeping breeding pairs is often difficult ❤

One idea for beating the heat for some of these animals and dogs might be to attach one of those misters to a hose in the shade.
Birds love sprinklers but that uses more water.

Kevin your the only other person I've heard talking about a Snake smell, years ago I walked into the Stables and told the 2 others there was a Snake in the barn I could smell it. Of course they laughed at me and said I was crazy, I walked around the barn for a few minutes and went into the area where the automatic walker was. I yelled for them to come and showed them the Snake, they didn't laugh at me anymore. It must be the Indian in us.

I wish I could have some cameras like those, or at least a cam of some sort on our farm. Of course we have them on our house and such but here where I live in Ky,well no matter what cell carrier u have the signal absolutely sux! Thts why we have to keep our house phone because we have no cell signal at home. And we have a huge cell tower like 3 miles from the house. The WiFi def won’t reach to all the places tht I would like to have a cam. I hope y’all have a blessed wk, God bless u all 🙏🫶🏻
