DUCATI MONSTER 1200S Clear Clutch Cover Install

A fun mod for Ducati Monster by DUCABIKE. Gives a cosmetic flare to the bike as well as some practical uses like changing your clutch plates on the go without having to remove the entire oil bath. Saved $600+ worth of labor at the dealership. Honestly the hardest part was removing the OEM cover. All in all, it was a fun job and seeing it all come together in the end was very fulfilling. First ride out the next day had heads turning, it's a head-turning mod if you will. :P

- DucaBike Oil Bath(Black)/Clear window+rim(black)
- DucaBike Pressure plate(Gold)
- DucaBike Pressure inner ring(Black)

Tools used:
- 5mm T-handle
- 4mm T-handle
- 5mm allen head bit with a step down adapter
- 10mm socket
- 3 lb rubber mallet
- 20mm bearing remover
- Torque wrench(make sure yours goes to 10nm)
- Liquid Gasket rated for correct temperature
- Torch lighter
- Needle-nose pliers
- 3M absorbant pads
- Blue thread locker
- Lintless cloth

Well I used some random one from oreilys that was for bikes rated for up to 375 F. But Ducati recommends the Ducati threebond. Ive had this one for 2 years now and no issues. As long as you buy something that is rated for high temp. But if you want to be super safe and by the book, order some ducati three bond.

HI does the oil makes the transparent circular window dirt after the first use so you cannot see the clutch any more? Or after the engine shut off became clear again? Thanks.

Well, it will make it splash oil all over the window initially yes. But youll always see the insides, unless its time to change your oil lol

They are, I just looked it up. The guy I bought the bike from had those on already. Holyf, they're expensive lol

Hey guys, I thought these wheels were only made for the Panigales, how could they be fitted on a Monster? I’ve been eyeing those forged Marchesini from the 1199 but they say those won’t fit on my M1200

Yeah, that is the trade off. But then again, you can always install some frame sliders, so in case of a crash on the high side the cover wont get damaged :)
