fun fact : even tho they nerfed cryo to only deal tick damage at lvl 2, you can still do this, just start with a lvl 1 brawler, get a lvl 2 cryo and play how you normally would using this strat.
The main reason I'd solo hardcore with this is to get gems for the hardcore towers since I'm not really fond of dying over and over again to get gems. But you need every Hardcore tower (minus necromancer) in order to do this, the only one I need is brawler, but still, once I have brawler I have no reason to do something like this until another hardcore tower comes out.
first, medic is not needed because he uses engineer, mercenary base, brawler(which doesnt need medic), DJ is also not needed because he can get enough money to max all his dps easily, commander is not needed either because, cryomancer, accel, engineer, brawler can't be fully buffed at max potential with commander, so he used mercenary base(which is an effective 20% extra dps + grenadiers and riots good dps)
Tf did you expect him to bring? Scout and sniper? And having high end towers does not mean it's not easy, especially since engi and accel are a given in solo hardcore.
by "really easy" he meant the strat, it indeed is very easy no farming, no chaining and you don't have to worry about anything, except for the abilities from the merc base
