3 for me : It just seems to be the perfect plate for my growth where I know there will be just the right growth to do a daily shave around the same time of day.
Good shave Kevy . Plate 4 (R4, R2 plate) is the daily and if i miss a couple of days plate 6 with an Astra green blade, always get a good shave with a 6C
Ariana & Evans Monte Carlo. it's in my rotation and I love it each time I use it. I got the matching aftershave and I use the Dior Sauvage balm during the winter days.
Just love MSC soap and enjoy their scent range, I believe most of the label art is designed by Fernando's "artist" friend, I think it's "Stefan" you will see his signature on the soap label art.🤟🤠🤟
I bought a silver 6S cap, red R4 plate and blue handle (fav football team colors), and it was less than half the price of a full 6S. I already had a 6C, and knew I mainly used that one plate.

Hi William. I have a 6C, and want to know the specific reasons you prefer the 6C... I am thinking of getting one solid stainless steel razor as a heirloom razor, and considering a 6S, Rex Envoy, or Edwin Jagger 3one6. Please advise🙏🏾

I have used the Rex Envoy and it just has too much blade feel for me. I have not used the 3one6 razor. I like the weight and balance of the 6s. Also, like that is considered an adjustable razor. I use the number 4 plate for the first pass and then the 3 plate and finish with the 2 plate. For my skin and beard, this gives me a close irritation free shave. This may not work for someone else. The only thing I wish Rockwell would do is offer a polished 6s. Of the 3 razors you mentioned I think the Envoy is the best looking. Rockwell is running a sale on their website. Hope this helps.

I learnt something from Ohio shaves and tried it last week; I did the first pass on my 3 days growth with the R5 plate, 2nd pass with the R3 plate, and 3rd pass and touch up with the R2 plate...and that was the smoothest and most comfortable shave of my life, honestly. I believe it just requires the patience to dial down from plate to plate and presto!, it's done. Wow!
Kevy, My dad had a Greek restaurant in Bristol for about 20 years from the 70’s to the mid 90’s. Those were the days off the back of Shirley valentine and Greece opening up. We were packed with two seatings from Thursday to Saturday. My fathers nightmare was the Meze ! Too many small courses for too many people, lots of family rows in the back kitchen. 😂😂 Hope you enjoy your meal.

Great shave. I tried the plate 2 setting on the 6C and I find it to be very smooth, comfortable and kinder to my skin. I’ll have to use that plate more often when my skin doesn’t feel like getting bothered by too much aggression. Speaking of family, I’m currently in Houston for the weekend for my cousin’s wedding. You said the 6C glides better than the 6S. If that's the case, why is the 6S your favorite? I gave my 6C to my son-in-law. But before that, I did compare the 6C and the 6S. For me, I didn't notice any real difference. I'm guessing the slickness of the soap compensated for that? As for which plate I prefer, I use R4 on passes 1&2 and R2 on pass 3 and pickups.
Yaqi products are not bad, but their customer service is a joke. 2 of 3 aftershave came shattered and yaqi customer service doesnt care at all. So 52 euros wasted. These sellers are not trust worthy, kevy. These sellers are a scam , you shouldn't promote these kind of sellers kevy..

I have no idea. Some people say it's so that you cann grab the ends of the blade when removing it.

It does glide better, probably due to the polished chrome finish. I prefer the extra weight on the 6S. Cheers. Kevy 😀
