  • Here we are talking about the 5th Klesha (source of suffering) which is Abinivesha. This Klesa is the clinging to life and the resistance or fear that comes from facing change or going toward the unknown, specifically the transition to death. We will talk about how to build awareness of Abinivesha and use it to enhance your enjoyment of every day life.

YOGA FOCUS is about learning the foundations of yoga. Each week we have a different focus that I write on the “Yoga Board” (the large white board that you will see in these videos). The weekly topics build on each other so that you get a real understanding of what the COMPLETE practice of yoga consists of- not just practicing postures (asana).
The yoga practices that we do are gentle, slow flows with a therapeutic focus.
We will also talk about ways to take your yoga practice off of your mat to fully embrace the yoga lifestyle!
Practice Yoga = Change your Life!!

Thank you for your videos ! Ayahuasca has taught me and let me know that I’m infinite multidimensional thus no longer fearing death , however allowing that growth was so challenging .

Thanks Eleonora, this is one of my favorite topics to discuss & i feel it is often ignored in the teachings of yoga because it is a delicate topic- but so important

so could that mean that if you take your own life... you never come back because you conquered the fear of it?

abHinivesa or abHinivesha. In the Devanagari script, the Letters to describe sounds can seem very similar, but they are not the same. For example the sounds and letters representing them- ब vs भ = Ba vs Bha or -->>> Ta/Tha; Da/Dha etc. The H is important for the pronunciation of the word, both because it carries specific vibration and charge, and because it could be confused with another word, or adopt a different meaning. I find that often native English speakers change pronunciations ( not only in the yoga world but in general) because it makes sense to them, are used to doing it because of English rules of writing and pronunciation, or don't want to learn how to pronounce it( saying this with full awareness and compassion as I also have an accent in English and am not perfect in pronouncing everything either), eliminate or add sounds where they do/don't belong, or don't pay attention or care about the language enough to think that it is important. In my first 200YTT ages ago we were told that it does not matter how we pronounce anything because Sanskrit is a dead language. Both those statements turned out to be false. Have you all noticed this happening as well?

I love this, thank you for sharing. correct pronunciation is not my strong suit (in english or sanskrit 🙈) would love to hear this in video form as it is challenging to convey through text...you could make a video 😊
