I love my M7, it has served me well and still going great after 12 months use. The only issue was the Motocaddy accessories, they seem to be an afterthought and quite poorly made. I came across a company called Stadium Golf who make an All In 1 accessory, it has everything and is very well built, it’s made a day on the course so much easier

I have the All In 1 accessory too, such a clever product

My M7 arrived and I used it for the fist time today.
    AMAZING!
    BAD THINGS:
~ I felt like the phone stand was in the way of my longest clubs. I had to angle my phone down more but then it blocked the LCD screen of the cart.
~Full drinks will spill in the cup holder if you hit bumps.
~It's a little heavy. Removing the battery before lifting it into my truck helped.
    GOOD THINGS:
~Super easy to open and close.
~My Sun Mountain C130 bag fit perfectly.
EVERYTHING ELSE LOL. I love this thing.

Awesome product. Had mine for a month now. Absolutely no regrets!
Lasts for 36 holes easily (course length / terrain may matter tho)
Can't recommend enough. Super easy to use. Never had a regular powered trolley, but after this, would never ever consider one because steering it and walking with it is only marginally better than a pull trolley imo

Hi , i recently bought the M7 and i must say , great in use !! However , i change the trolly because it stops randomly in the course sometimes for no reason, no buttons pressed. My new one does the same.... are there more users with this problem ?

Had mine for a month, it is very good and makes a round more relaxing, I use the remote only about 30% of the time because my home course is quite hilly and you can’t let the trolley go in its own over difficult terrain. If you can afford the premium it is a nice product but you won’t lose much value if you go for a more basic electric trolley, that is where most of the benefit can be found. I don’t miss the course maps on GPS because I have it in my watch; a better solution imho. It is well made and the battery lasts 18 hole easily but i am not sure it would comfortably do 36 but jn fairness I have not tried it.

It does make playing so much more relaxing.

This better be good, just ordered . Was considering M3 DHC but having a Garmin S62 think I didn't need the App stuff. Listening to review i think the £200 extra is better spent being able to remote control.
    Fingers crossed !

@@georgejung5429 I like akot . Its fast , its slow and having a rear support wheel to stop it falling backwards it a must on my hilly couse. Only thing to get used to is the control and also be careful when placing ball down or picking up that the controller is locked. You might find your trolley shooting off somewhere.

Heard rumors that a major trolley manufacturer is working on a AI-driven system with lidar sensors and a submeter GPS receiver. Autonomous driving and follow me functionality is achieved by connecting the system to the motor controls. In a ‘programming round' you can define parking postitions at each green and tee box and route safe paths around bunkers and hazards on the display. When playing an 'advance function’ drives the trolley to the next parking postition, so e.g. when hitting the green from 160 yards you could take out the putter and press advance and the trolley moves to the position beside or behind the green. From there to the next tee and so on. With the additional remote control one could still pause the autonomous driving when e.g. a playing partner hits his ball. Then just press continue and the trolley advances on its own. Of course one can always steer by hand in uncertain terrain. This is probably the future of electric trolleys.

How does it compare with the Stewart Q follow or Q remote?

What are your thoughts on the Motocaddy M7 after owning it for a few months?

    • @themaker03
      @themaker03 2 года назад

@@weber_with1B love it! I love walking around the course hands free. It’s easy to steer and stops on a dime. I can get two 18 hole rounds out of a charge, but I don’t push it. Once I forgot to charge it and went to play another 9 after already having 36 on it. It died on 7, and although you can switch the wheels to freewheel, it was a hog to push.
I bought a bike basket that I easily attach which gives me a spot for headcovers/extra water etc. I’m not using it through the summer as I live in the California desert and walking isn’t a thing right now. Looking forward to getting back to it this fall.

@themaker03, thanks! I decided on purchasing the M7 over the MGI Navigator. I enjoy walking when I play and this will allow me to walk courses I would normally ride in a cart. Great idea adding a bike basket. I’m such a minimalist when I play because I don’t want to have to carry the extra weight. Now I’ll finally be able to carry that 36 pack of Natty. JK. 🤣.

@@weber_with1B haha yeah buddy! It’s great. I used it it in a practice round on a hilly course. That sucker towed me up a few of their hills. It’s a great purchase.

It would great if it could follow 100% in auto mode: Only needs GPS and a connection to your phone / GPS watch to tell it, where you are.

The remote should be a joystick type instead, it would make it much easier to control while walking instead of using a TV like remote.

@@GolfmagicPlus Should hopefully get mine just in time for when the courses open again :). Currently waiting on delivery.
Figured that I didn't need the GPS as the trolley would not always be next to the ball ...plus GPS watches and phone GPS apps are readily available.
Preferred to spend the extra on the remote and DHC

What would be really good is, if the remote was operated with a joystick instead

I never use the remote, save money and buy non-remote version, it is a novelty but not so useful in practice imho.

I have sent it back for repairs twice in less than a year
This was due to the electronic panel failing

They have an app and you can stick your phone in the holder with their app/gps open. Voila! GPS!
