I think I must have been really lucky going to this restaurant because when I went there was no queue at all! It is a must visit for every ARMY when they go to Seoul!
I actually do have somewhat of a story to share. I remember it happened after the Rose Bowl concert ended. I had gone from Florida to California with me, my older sister, my mom, and my mom's friend. My mom doesn't feel comfortable driving in places she's unfamiliar with so we just took an Uber everywhere. So on the day of the concert we took an Uber from our hotel in LA to the stadium in Pasadena. It took about 45 minutes to get there and when we finally did I just briefly noticed how few entrances there were. I also noticed the mountains around us and being from Florida you don't see that anywhere. The concert was incredible and I enjoyed every last minute of it! The problem came soon after we started leaving the stadium. As we exited, we could feel a difference in the temperature. It from being 70 degrees to 55 degrees. Then my sister decided to call an Uber right away but her phone was dead. My mom's friend checked her phone and it was dead too. They were the only ones with the Uber app. So my mom and I decide to download the app on our phones but the there wasn't any signal because we were out by the mountains. As we're just standing outside the stadium deciding what to do, my mom goes up to this lady getting in her car and ASKS HER FOR A RIDE! After explaining the situation we were in and asking to drop us off somewhere that we could have signal, the lady agreed to help us out. It was a 5 seated car so the four of us cramped ourselves in the back seats as the lady and her daughter sat in the front. The lady was very bubbly and excited to help and I could tell from her daughter's expression that was something she did a lot. Remember those few entrances I mentioned earlier, well they matter now. Imagine 60,000 people all trying to leave at once by a handful of entrances. While we slowly moved little by little in the line of people trying to leave, the lady said that my sister could use her charger. She also told us that they saw both Day 1 and Day 2 concerts. The lady mentioned that one of her favorite moments during the concert was when Jungkook lifted his shirt in Fake Love. It took about an hour until we were finally out of that. The entire time I felt uncomfortable because I had just started my period and I just wanted to get to a bathroom. After driving about 15-20 minutes, we got to a McDonald's. I went to use the bathroom and my sister was able to get an Uber. As we drove back to the hotel, the realization that I just saw BTS in concert hit me and I slowly cried tears of joy in the back seat of the Uber.
When I first went to yoojung sikdang, it was raining too and the sikdang was surprising empty. I had a small chat with the lady boss (with my broken korean) after she knew I'm an army and showed me some pictures she kept. Not long later, there was a korean lady in her early 20s who came in for a meal too. And using my broken korean knowledge again, from her conversation with the lady boss, she is a long time customer and had seen bts having meal here many times when they were trainees. The young lady ask if bts came by recently but sadly the lady boss replied no. From her tone she sounded really sad.
