  • For our wedding anniversary, Linda and I went to Martha's Vineyard. This was just before Memorial Day, so not everything was open yet. However, we did do a lot, and saw a lot in three days.

    September is an excellent time. My daughter was just married at the Edgartown White House on Sunday, September 13. The weather was beautiful and the crowds were down quite a bit. I think you are much better in September then May.

    Very nice job Dave with you and your wife Linda. Just came home today towards end of first week of October after starting out mid September enumerating the US Census 2020. The weather was super except for one day during the 21 day span when most of the ferries did not run that particular day. We left the mainland (Hyannis) every day to Martha's Vineyard except a few days at beginning to Nantucket for mostly 12 hour days. Your video makes my memories of the people of the Islands attuned especially those of Chappaquidick.

    Nice job! Really like and will go there in two weeks. BTW, which app did you use for map tracking?

      I use an app called Keyshape, which is a $30 Mac animation app, to create my animated maps.

    The BEST video on MV. Great editing, great story and well said and put together.
    We are going ti the island for July 4th and this video was great in our planning (as we are taking our bikes).
    Have a safe and great rest of the year!
    Cheers.

    The island that John j. had to fly for the wedding of a relative of his and had brought with him his girlfriend with his little sister who was to meet John's cousin John: but the death awaited him and there they found at the bottom of the wonderful sea that John loved so much!

    My late husband and I went to Martha’s Vineyard in 1992 via ferry from Woods Hole…had a wonderful time. Wonder if I will ever get back there again.

    I really enjoyed this video. You and your wife seem lovely. I loved when you pointed out the bridge that was featured in Jaws. I have wonderful memories watching Jaws with my Grandpa and eating Pringles. Thank you for sharing.

    By the way, I love your new era patriots hat. We basically saw every site you saw except for bike riding. Edgartown was our favorite because it was so neat and nice. Oh Bluffs had more of a Salisbury Beach feel. Bottom line, really enjoyed your video. Well produced.

    I so thank you for a walk down memory lane! I lived year round on Martha’s Vineyard with my Mom & Step-Dad from 1974 - 1985 - I went to college in Maine but always came home on breaks. I married a native Cape Codder from N Eastham, MA, he passed away sadly, and In 1990 I moved to Dallas , TX where I have been landlocked for the last 30 yrs! I still have many friends up there and a very close friend on Nantucket, I am hoping to make it up there one of these summers from mid May to early October!! It’s a good goal to have! I definitely wouldn’t have to pay to stay! But it’s not cheap up there! Thanks for the great video that helped my homesickness!!

    Which 369 camera did you use?

    • @DaveHerring524
      @DaveHerring524  4 года назад +2

      The 360 camera I used was the Rylo. It's been a good camera, but the company no longer makes cameras, so will be looking for a new one. I am leaning toward the GoPro Max.

      I used 3 cameras for this video. A GoPro Hero 7 Black, a Rylo, and a Canon M50. I do enhance the color a little when editing in Final Cut Pro X.

      She’s a racist and could not appreciate the beauty of the diversity on the vineyard. Refer to her other statement for a clearer understanding of the mentality you are dealing with!

    Look out for who's moving in! There goes the neighborhood! When one moves in, they take over and whites end up leaving! Been there, done that!

    • @FOOMRADIO
      @FOOMRADIO 5 лет назад +2

      Peggy, can you clarify what you mean exactly? Your statement is a tad bit nebulous.

    • @FOOMRADIO
      @FOOMRADIO 5 лет назад +4

      What you are implying is uneducated and an explicit bias. If you knew anything about the Vineyard, you would know that diversity has had a longtime presence. It happens to be a melting pot of many cultures. Thank God you are not the one chairing the welcoming committee!

    • @nobloodyusername
      @nobloodyusername 4 года назад +4

      Yes, "Been there, done that!". I am guessing it is the same as when the whites moved in, took over and the Wampanoag people ended up "leaving"! Ignorant fool.
