What he said was that there was a reference to somebody having a delayed notification of the death, that somebody who should have been notified wasn't immediately, someone was the last to know. SHE told HIM that she was the last to know. He picked up the reference rather than who it applied to.
I know mediumship is real and I believe Tyler Henry is genuine. But this is exactly why people say it's not real - this kind of stupid, untrue headline.

Her friend called us and said “oh I’m so sorry about his passing” and both of us were like “what are you talking about.” So we called the place he was staying and they said he had passed away a few days ago while my mom was on vacation.
Everyone knew before we did. It’s been 10 years and that still messed with me.

Except there are tons of people who have and can do this without calling themselves a 'medium'. Part of it is cold reading, part of it is background reading and part of it is editing. Let's just imagine for one moment that this guy is not actually talking with the dead. How disgusting would it be for someone to knowingly mess with your head about deceased loved ones, make a career out of it, whilst all the while being praised? That is by the far the most likely situation, whether you 'believe' it or not. Don't get me wrong, it would be incredible if thats not what's happening, but given how ridiculously unlikely that is, it worries me that this guy is not being questioned more, not only by his viewers but by the media and networks that promote his line of work.
