- Oh Janis, you were such a monster vocalist. I'm dying laughing at myself watching this back. I have way too much fun by myself, and wow, this new camera really captures my dangler bahahahahaha. Uvula for those of you who know mouth words. But hey, at least you can tell I'm not lip syncing lol!
I don't know how I ran across her videos but I'm so glad I did. She is an incredible talent, a beautiful woman, and drives me crazy.
I NEVER get tired of listening to Casi Joy. I want to buy her cd's.

Free heart God.s people never a problem anywhere we went. Going down high way 67 in Missiouri sign on the highway big arrow Free Beer turn here so we did at least 100 people partying as we pulled up there all waving pointing at the beer. Had a bond fire we stayed till dark and went to my sister's house.

I liked Roger Miller's version better than Janis Joplin's. I believe he sang first , but she made it highly popular. Both good singer's.

Janis Joplin was competely overrated. She sounds like chit. I love Casi. She got a great Countryvoice.
What do I like about this young lady? Everything! Great voice. Simple videos. Passionate about music. She's having fun doing what she's doing. And she's beautiful!
I dont do concerts anymore but i would definitely pay good money to see this young lady. Even if all her music are covers of other artists. Beautiful voice and great stage presence

Back when I was in college around 1987 I knew a young woman named Jeannie Delorenz. Now we wasn’t together but I knew she wanted to be.
So we was out at a bar in bay ridge Brooklyn one night on 3rd Ave. They had a little bar band going on and they was pretty good. So Ms Jeannie got up and asked the band if they knew Bobby McGee and if they did that she would get up and sing it. She swore that she would do it justice and they didn’t have to worry. They agreed and I was simply mortified. Didn’t know Jeannie that long and had no idea she could sing, dance or do anything else.
The band started to play and Jeannie Delorenzo started to do her version of the song and you could have heard a pin drop when she started to belt it out. It was absolutely amazing, much the way you sang it. She brought the house down, and I will never ever forget it. The entire bar was singing and cheering and I was proud and impressed that she was with me and was my friend.
We lost touch over the years, but I hope she sees and hears your version someday. I think it will remind her of that magical night back in 1987.
Appreciate your talent and look forward to more videos. Thank you for reminding of that night.

I'm 74 and Janis Joplin was my favorite singer in the 60s. I wanted to be her! Janis's voice was both joyful and heartbreaking. You have a great voice, but your spunky energy almost made me forget this is a song about a broken heart! I'll have to close my eyes and only listen so I can hear that broken heart that way.

We would hitchhike to anywhere we wanted to go , we were told that mama Cass would pick up hitchhikers , never seen her , but sure ran into alot of freaks , big fan of Janis , big shout out to the bikers that would take care of us at crystal lake .

This has to be the best version of this song I have herd. It was written by Kris Kristofferson and Fred Foster and first release by Roger Miller in 1969-1970. Janis recorded it just before her death, Janice Joplin's posthumous album released in 1971 had this song on it and then it became well known.
