The princess's character here has been likable from the start. Unlike other young girls in these dramas, she's genuinely naive & sweet, but smart & teachable too. We're usually given scheming, sly, conniving princesses in dramas. She's portraying her role well and so is the entire cast.

Prince Li did improve a lot thru' the help of Ruyi and the rest of the delegation. Very good acting of Liu Yuning and the rest of the gang too.... watched up to episode 32 already and couldn't wait for the next episodes, very entertaining and never boring.... love it, just wish it will have a happy ending.
