İf Mercy says ''Heroes never die!'' when she revives you I can imagine the medic reviving you but not to continue the battle,and he just casually takes out a buzzsaw while you are laid down.
So basically with Mercy, you have a "Get out of Jail Free Card" with a press of a button, low skill ceiling, abilities that cause stalemates and are frustrating to deal with, bland design and character and the only thing keeping her relevant in the community is R34 material bc "she kinda thicc".

TLDR summary: Mercy will always be a saint. And saints, you know they'll always err on the good side. Medic, is a nutjob. He can turn out either way. And THAT is why he's loved. Mercy is the cutest thing for saving Genji, and being such a waifu.... but Medic can still turn out to be simply _whatever._ and _whatever_ , beats cute, any day.
I mean medic is the only healer besides for heavy and engineer In overwatch their seems to be multiple healers and medic Is a source of mobile healing and can give crits, invincibility, resistances, heal super fast with quick fix and dispensers cant do that Kritz = crits Stock = invincibility Vaccinator = resistances Quick fix = super fast healing Overwatch idk but there are a ton of healing moves in that game

Can someone remind me again why this "war" happened in the first place? Because from what I remember this whole comparison of the games was utterly stupid. Were some people in the TF2 community really so insecure about the future of thier favourite game that they just attacked anyone who said they liked this new game in the same genre? Honestly its been a very long running joke in the TF2 community that X will kill Team Fortress 2 so I think some we're just shit posts or memes about the situation happening again while some we're legitimately insecure. TF2 has probably been "killed" by over 12 to 20+ things at this point
From what I’ve learned from TF2 Commentary Channels this rivalry was started by more Immature members of TF2, who would go to Overwatch forums and trash the game & it’s fans.
10:20 she means the Quick-Fix and Vaccinator on 6v6. When it comes to the Quick-Fix, with the lower team sizes the increased healing of the former is more noticeable, and the shared explosive jumping increases the survivability and offensive potential of the Medic tenfold. If both Medics run it, it's almost impossible for either team to reliably get a pick or advance. The Vaccinator is a bit controversial. The ridiculously fast charges and the fact that the shields can shut down half of the enemy team make it extremely easy to defend with, especially on last. The charges are much more disposable so the Medic can use one or two to escape from a pick class without loosing Uber advantage, unlike all the other Mediguns. Being able to cap while essentially invulnerable is also a big plus for attacking. It's difficult to say wich of the two is more broken, since both of them have basically the same problem of being TOO good at keeping the Medic and his teammates alive, with vastly different methods.
I feel like the overwatch character with the most personality is junkrat and the funniest thing is that they're probably the closest to a tf2 character, a person that's insane and half the time loves their weapons or role as much as a person would love a child or lover.

In TF2, you can play a match with 9 support teammates: 4 snipers - 5 spies - 0 medic 11:27 Excuse me? We don't care about our TEAM! You see how we are happy when we heal the enemy spy that backstabs an annoying patient?! As a Medic Main myself, Medic has a special type of gameplay that makes him annoying, hurting, easy, hard, and fun to play ... All at the same time. I didn't play Overwatch yet but I think that I can see some of the game's problems. - Overwatch: Too many characters to pick and many of them share the same play system in a 6v6 match - TF2: Only 9 class to pick with each has its own unique style and gameplay in a 12v12 match Medic is the only healer yet we can have multiple different medics thanks to cosmetics and unusual that give every player its own class identity, for me when I play with other teammates from the same class I can see myself easy to identify for having different cosmetic. He is a terrible doctor, he is a madman, he is a horrible human being, he doesn't know what he is doing (I HAVE NO DIEA!!!!), he is a true demon and the devil itself ... He is fun to watch and play, he is who I chose to be ... He is ... The Medic! ...

Medic (aggressively grabbing Mercy's collar): "I haf healed the man who vill kill you!" Medic just has a much more deeply developed character; he's a regular dynamo when it comes to doing his job. Mercy is only a one-dimensional goody-two-shoes; she's like a wet blanket slapping you in the face of your aesthetics. Even their in-game lines of dialogue reflect this, before dipping your toes into the background lore for either. And speaking of the background lore as a whole, TF2's lore is literally been made canon by the developers & faithfully expounded upon by content creators. Anything that anyone says about Overwatch can never be any more than rumor, hearsay, or even "alternate universe" history. Content creators don't have anything solid to grasp in order to create something new for lore...Because there's effectively no lore to start with; how can Bethseda & Overwatch developers hope to build any fan loyalty when there's no real hook for them to grab?

I love both games equally, and that's a lot. I love both games a lot a lot. Mercy fucking sucks, medic is the best, end of story. She's the worst support. Literally any other support is better. For fucks sake even soldier 76s healing ability is better. Personality wise for mercy, yeah she also lacks there. Maybe OW2 will Make her better. However, other characters do have a bit more personality. I mean, look at Lucio. He's the definition of personality. Medic however, is completely perfect and just the best.
